I’ve met Dale and Joe about 9 years ago and I’ve seen them grow in the barber space and become an important part of the community in Belmont/ San Mateo. I know it probably sounds corny but they aren’t just barbers, they are artists who do this day in and day out.

The new location is great and the remodel of the space definitely gives it a welcoming atmosphere. The team at 44 Palms offers a diverse range of barbers with unique styles. I usually go for the works but you have a variety of services you can choose from. Definitely book online, it’s a pain free process to book an appointment. All I can say is I’m excited to see this team grow, you can’t go wrong with any of them!

It took me awhile to find a barber shop in the area that I liked. 44 Palms is great. Ive been going to Juan and really like how he cuts my hair and appreciate his attention to detail. He even cut my little guy’s hair (he’s 2) and was super patient and kind. I didn’t expect his first hair cut to go so well!

He takes his time to make sure every cut is perfect and leaves you looking sharp and feeling confident. On top of his skills, Leon is super friendly and creates a great atmosphere in the shop. My 16yo was finally ready to cut his hair and we found Leon at the San Mateo location! We showed him a picture of what he wanted and Leon got to it He did such an amazing job. Exactly what we were looking for!! Professional, kind, and a warm smile. I was nervous because this was a huge step for my son. Leon’s confidence showed and my son felt at ease. Pictures were welcomed. It was a really good price and product available that he used on his hair. My son is thrilled, I’m super happy and we found his new haircut guy!!

Leon listened to my husband’s initial thoughts and then made recommendations. Leon’s recommendation was spot on! Along with his haircut, Leon trimmed his beard and eyebrows. Best place for the best cuts! Reservation is simple and very good at avoiding double books. The energy is always great and you’re always involved in the conversations, feels like you’re with family. The hospitality and ambience is overall amazing and out beats other places I’ve been at!
