I have been waiting to try this salon for over a year now and held out on getting some color work done after following their Instagram- and I'm so glad I did! I went to Steph, a co-owner of the salon, and honestly, just trusted her based on what I've seen her do. I couldn't be happier with the results! Absolutely worth it to fly (from Chicago) to San Anselmo to keep it up. The salon itself was very clean, very aesthetic, and carries the best haircare, which means you know they know what's up. The neighborhood is super cute; great places to grab lunch, coffee (hello Longway coffee!), parking is easy, and just all around the luxe experience you want when getting hair services. 10/10, guys!

The Current Marin and Kristina are the best! Kristina is such a good person and I truly look forward to getting to see her when I get my hair done. And what’s even better is I’m always blown away with how good she makes me look! I can’t wait to visit her at the Current Marin when they open again!

Super disappointed. I had an appointment here to get my hair done right before several special events and when I walked in it was jam packed full of people and not one was wearing a mask. It literally looked like they were having a party in there and no distancing was possible. I asked to be taken to a space where I could be safer / more protected (because I’m about to take a test in order to be able to attend the events safely) and was denied any real options. It's fine if not everyone wants to make the same choices but there should at least be a safer option or some sort of warning that they are no longer honoring the masking as they were 5 weeks ago. Now I have to try to find a new stylist during the holidays and right before a photo shoot. I have been coming here all year and have dropped $$$$ but won't be returning. It’s probably for the best since my hair got totally fried from the highlights and it was about time for me to move on.

Kristina is wonderful! She helped me fix a bad color job by listening and understanding what I was looking for. She did an awesome balayage and I will definitely be back to see her again.
