I brought my 14 year old daughter in for a hair cut yesterday to Chris to prepare for first day , we provided a picture and he over cut her bangs horribly. She hasn't stopped crying. When I called to share feedback she starting arguing with me instead of giving some customer care or maybe bringing her back to fix it. so disapointed in the customer care, I WILL NEVER go back. Mistakes happen how you treat a customer is another thing, it is the treatment not the mistake that leads me to this decision. I had gone before to Chris and personally speaking I got a great cut. But being treated like the wrong doer by the person answering the phone was heartless

I recently lost 25 pounds so I treated myself to an appointment at a nice salon with the owner of the salon, Ty Alexander in Newport Beach. When he was notified that I was there he looked over in my direction and his face transformed to an angry indignant expression. He walked over to me and in a clipped tone informed me that he could not do my hair and that he has another stylist to do it. His attitude was arragant and cruel. He gave no explanation. I said to him that I am keenly aware that I am middle age, unattractive, and overweight and that it was a fear of mine to walk into a nice salon and be rejected. His response… “you’re not overweight “. He sat in the chair across from me chatting with staff while another person cut and styled my hair.
Don’t worry about me, as I write this I’m having a giggle. Welcome to over 50.

These people are jerks, with special emphasis on the owner. He was rude and unkind to a friend who went in to treat herself to a nice cut at an "upscale" salon. Turns out money doesn't equal class. Ty refused to cut her hair and when she told him that she's aware she's "keenly aware she's middle-aged, unattractive, and overweight," he replied that she's not overweight. Like, WTAF. The owner is as rotten as last week's potatoes and should be censured. Do better, Ty. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Thank you, Kim! I was a little nervous because of the density of jungle on my head she had to cut through, and it was my first time working with her. My last haircut was in February and I have thick hair. I am so happy my friend recommended her! Kim’s attention to detail and experience are clearly evident the moment she gets to work. I’m from the east coast and will fly out for my next haircut from only the best, Kim.

The salon was spotless, Covid-19 ready/compliant, and the staff was super-friendly.

The color was horrible. I asked for a natural looking bronde and it was streaks of highlighter yellow over my natural brown. I think he was in such a hurry that he really over-processed my hair. It was pretty traumatic. I wish he would have just told me he needed to reschedule and taken the time he needed to do a good job. I went to another salon the next day and got a honey-colored gloss to achieve a more natural hair color, but it did not undo the damage of going so light so quickly. Save your money and go to a better salon.

If Ty doesn't like you, that's it. No cut from Ty. Ty will just sit there chatting with someone else while someone else cuts your hair even though your appointment was WITH TY. I don't know what that's all about but just sharing it for those who want Ty to do the cutting.

This salon is SUPER COOL!! Kinda hidden down below, so go down to the bottom level in the center of Building 230. They have a little shop now with alot of really nice gifts/home and beauty items, including Gigi Pip hats!! Everyone is really nice in there! I LOVE Stephany, my cut was REALLY good, and I am kinda particular haha. They do ALOT of extensions there as well! I highly recommend this Salon, take it from a picky patron!!! ;D

I want to share my awful experience with Nickole in this beauty salon. I had an appointment with Nickole for highlight, I showed the color which I was interested in, however At the end the result was completely different and I paid 300$ for a partial highlight! She told me dunn worry wash it and you always have time to text me about it. So I texted her and asked her to fix it, but she said Im fully booked, she gave me an appointment in 10 days, and when I asked her to move it sooner, she said I think I can not be your stylist anymore, and I can refund you 100$ . I was shocked with her attitude, and tried to talk to the manager and after that the owner. However after multiple times of calling back and forth nobody took the responsibility. The owner and the manager told me she is an independent stylist here and we can not do anything.So I texted Nickole to send me the 100$ refund,but she said why you called my salon and complain! I did my job and your hair looks good to me, I do not refund you anymore!
My problem was not about my color! Was about Nickole’s attitude, and the fact that the management of the salon weren’t able to solve my problem.
I just want to let you guys know that if something goes wrong with their service, no one feels responsible for it. Don’t get fooled by the popularity of the salon or her instagram!!
