I'd been cutting my own hair since the pandemic, and I've gotten pretty good at it. I wanted to get my hair cut like Obi Wan Kenobi for a Halloween party (kind of a strange request, but not a wild haircut or anything). The #1 barber pushed me onto the #2 chair and he looked at the photo I brought in. He shrugged his shoulders and gave my usual haircut. Although the signs say it includes a neck shave, I didn't get one. Haircut was $17, I gave him $25, I hope he saves the eight bucks because I won't be back. Nothing wrong with the haircut, just not what I wanted. Maybe he thought I was joking.

Not going to leave a rating - decide for yourself based on info provided. Went in for a haircut. Place was empty but a voice from the back said hello. I replied and someone came out. He said it would be a few minutes because he was eating lunch. I said OK and was then asked if I had an appointment. I said no and was told he only cuts hair by appointment. I said OK, glad business was so good he could turn away customers and started to leave. Did I mention the place was empty? Anyway, I'm walking out and this guy wants to know why I'm giving him a hard time. I just left. I checked the web site again and found no mention of appointment only scheduling but I did notice 2 different prices for hair cuts and beard trims.

Looks like I have to leave a rating so, based on my experience, 1 star. Really not accurate because no service was provided or paid for. Just my time wasted.

I’m afraid that the owner is one of the rudest people I’ve ever met in my life. Our first visit to him was in September to get my father’s hair cut. In October we made another appointment. When my husband and father entered the shop at the appointment time Gary yelled at them and said you can’t just come in here, it’s by appointment only. My husband told him my father had an appointment. Gary said ok just sit down I’ll get to you. By the time they left the shop my husband was very upset at the horribly rude treatment. So today I called to see if I could get a new appointment for my father. I obviously didn’t learn from our past experiences with this man. I asked if I could get a time for a haircut, a shave and eyebrow trim for my Dad. He very hatefully said we don’t do shaves here and hung up on me. We were all shocked that a man running a business chose such ugly customer service. Ok he doesn’t provide that service. I get it but my Dad still needed a haircut. Nope. Not going to happen because this rude nasty business owner hung up on me. He must think he’s pretty darned fabulous or just plain nasty to treat a customer that way. So needless to say we won’t be going back. We went down a little way on Bell Road and my father got a wonderful haircut , shave, eyebrow cut and ears trimmed in an environment that was kind, happy to provide excellent service and made my Dad feel that his business was valued there. My advice if you’re asking, go to the Campana Barber and avoid the Gentleman’s Barber at all cost. He is no gentleman.

Its not very often that I write reviews for others but I think it is important to let others know that this business is awesome!. I'd like to let others know that Gary has been doing my hair for over 7 years and not once have I ever been disappointed. Gary offers appointments as well as the normal walk-ins. For great haircuts, conversation, you won't be disappointed. I can't deny that it's the best and conveniently located here in Sun City!

The owner was very nice and respectful. The gentleman that cut my hair was also very nice and respectful. But what I got and what I wanted were 2 different things. I ask for a buzz cut with 2 on top and down to the skin on the sides and back. I also got a beard treat and I ask for it to be at least 2 inches long and no shorter. Yeah the beard was ok I had better but I had a whole lot worse. The the hair cut. All I can say is wow. After he was done. I look like Jim Carrey from the movie Me myself and Irene. The first one is what it looked like when he got done and the 2nd one is what it was supposed to look like.

Gary now has one of the best cutters in the area named Maria with a pleasant attitude. She will do you justice and there won't be any hair down your back when you leave.

Got recommended this spot from a friend of mine after my old stylist retired, Gary did a great job cutting off the mess of hair I brought into him! Very personable and friendly establishment. Will gladly come back in the future.
