We loved this place. We stayed twice and had a great time. The location is perfect, cute little townhouses. We loved going for a walk in the evening by the golf field. Rooms are cute too, just be ready to see not upgraded rooms. Kitchen appliances are new but not the furniture but we didn't really care since we weren't stayed all day inside. There is a lake about 10 minutes away which was fantastic and we got food on the way there, best burgers out there. They also have pool and jacuzzi inside their office. We enjoyed staying there.

Very picturesque and historic, but not especially friendly to the physically infirm. Because it's historic, don't expect a lot of ADA friendliness, especially in the main building. I don't know about the rest of the hotel, but the main building is the original architecture (high steps and uneven walkways, and very low commode). Younger people may not be affected by this, but some of us older, non-physically fit people might have a more difficult time.||Our Queen room had most of the creature comforts, although I was disappointed that it didn't have a microwave and microfridge, something I've become very used to when I travel. Also, our room was twenty feet from the main street through town, which it made it a little noisy at night. Again, something that can be accepted for the history of the surrounding area.||The man at the reception desk was friendly, and explained about the full breakfast that is provided each morning from 8:00am to 10:00am. However, my wife and I didn't partake, as we had other plans for the day.||I would stay here again, but perhaps in a quieter part of the hotel.

Hidden gem in the forest, very close to the Calaveras Big Trees state park. Very clean, very well kept 80’s charm cabins. Quite spacious two story cabins, placed between trees and alongside the creek. We were lucky to be here during low season so it was quiet and serene. The club house has pool, hot tub, large kitchen/dinning area, pool - perfect for larger groups. I highly recommend and hope to come back for longer time.

Ok, I called the "resort" three times to make and also confirm the reservation I made months in advance. The first time I requested an email that they "forgot" to send. The second time I called to say I never received my email confirmation they said "It must have gone to my spam". The third time I called directly to confirm my reservation they had no record of it and actually blamed me for their mistake! These people must live in a very high part of the mountains if you know what I mean. Incompetent would be an understatement!

Beautiful property, nestled in trees. Our unit had a brook behind us. Birds and trees-fun to identify. Not handicap accessible with stairs leading down to bedrooms & shower/tub.

Why would pool a access to facilities be earlier ours in the summer when more people can get here. Oh yeah money you liberal losers. Never recommended. Oh and I'm a local have fun with that referral.
