Made an appointment for 11:30. They called the person finally at 11:45 who then said the appointment was at noon. Waited until 12:15 so 45 minutes then the person did not show up or call to explain anything. I feel this is completely unprofessional and disrespectful and would recommend avoiding this establishment.

Karl V. (Karl's Kutz) is the best barber I've ever had in Alaska, seriously, and I've been to a lot. In the top 5 I've had in the country, everywhere from CA to DC. He has vision and skill, but what really sets him apart is that he has a meticulous eye for detail - getting things even, matching, lines clean. He took his time to get everything right - a lot of barbers just want to turn a chair over. Highly recommended if you're after style you can be proud of.

The barber cut way shorter than I asked for and he has no experience or skill set towards cowlicks… worst haircut ever since my mother stopped cutting my hair if I must say.

They shouldn't even get a star, they totally messed my son’s hair and not even worth $65, my wife does a better job. I totally not recommend, even another time AK fades Anchorage did my other sons hair cuts and my wife had to fix there so called professional hair cuts because they also did an awful job. Lousy hair cuts.
