I moved to Oakland two years ago, and Tiffany has never disappointed me with her talent for haircuts. This past weekend I also decided to get my hair colored for my wedding by Tiffany, a balayage style. I wanted a light ash color and wasn't sure what was possible because my hair was black. She gave me good advice, even when I wasn't sure what I wanted or know what's the right decisions. She was thoughtful and patient with me. Afterward, it turned out beautiful, but I told Tiffany I wanted to be lighter and to even out the orange due to my hair being black. She had me come in for another session, so she could make it lighter and even. After the second session, she even gave me treatment for my hair to take home. Tiffany is not only a professional, but she's talented at what she does, and she cares about her client's happiness. She's the best hair stylist I have had. Thank you for always giving it your best! Tiffany is amazing!! She knew what I needed and saved me from cutting off more hair than necessary. I thought my hair had been badly damaged but she explained that it was just extremely dry. She recommended a B3 treatment, which only took 15 minutes. Hands down, it has proven to be the most effective of all the products and treatments I have ever tried. Not only does my hair feel like silk each time I get it, which is every time I see her, but it lasts up to 2 months. So, every 12 weeks, I see Tiffany for this treatment and a cut. I couldn't be happier with the results. I can continue to straighten my hair with a flat iron or blow dry and not worry about having to shorten the length of my hair. Thank you, Tiffany!! You're amazing!!

Last time I had my hair colored was back in the 90s so I have no idea what we were looking for. Tiffany was patient and explained the different processes. For graduation gift and for getting good grades, my daughter had requested partial balayage. The outcome was perfect, the highlights had a natural looking effect.

The stylist arrived late and didn't know how to style hair as long as mine. I know that my hair is long, but I've never had an issue at any other salon when I get blowouts.

It was a very painful appointment. My hair was half washed by a guy who didn't tell me his name, then half washed by the stylist, which was confusing. Not enough conditioner was used for my length, then she kept tangling my hair up in a round brush, getting it caught on things, and ripping the hair out repeatedly. Even when she brushed it, she ripped through very aggressively and broke off a lot of hair instead of trying to detangle it gently.

I wish it had at least ended up looking good after all this, but the result genuinely looked worse than if I had blow dried my hair at home. It doesn't look very styled, and I had to detangle it even more when I got home.

Tiffany does such a great job. She has been cutting my hair for almost 3 years and it’s been superb every time! She’s extremely responsive when booking appointments and she’s a very kind person. Highly recommend!
