I had the worst hair cut experience by Marcella. She was rude, and very rough washing, cutting and even drying my hair constantly pushing my head each and every direction and commanding “don’t move”. She complained that I came in with wet hair and then proceeded to wash my hair. In the meantime while never asking if I wanted the hair mask somehow she added that on my bill. She complained about how much hair I had ( even though I came in with a chin length bob). She then complained that my hair was taking forever to dry and said I should have scheduled a longer appointment as now she was going to be late for her next client. She also informed that my haircut and style pricing went up to $155 from $55. I told her fine I would pay whatever. Then she proceeded to hurry up and made me super uncomfortable with her continuing complaining. When I realized she was now intentionally not finishing up my haircut correctly and leaving all over my hair uneven I had enough and walked away.
I had been to Alvea twice before for the same haircut and style for $55 as listed price as well as had a wonderful experience with Betty.
Marcella is very rude, very rough ( my neck is sore from pushing my head all around) and lacks customer service skills.
Because of my horrible experience with her I will never go back to Alvea and will not recommend to anyone.

I love how relaxing the environment is. I had a pedicure and it was amazing. The staff was very pleasant. I will definitely be back.

Great Facial from Crissy. Nice cut and color from Tim.
The only negative is the apparel sold there is a bit drab. When the cute stuff comes in it sells out fast. Need to take a lot of markdowns to move out older products and make way for some more fashionable clothes.

I absolutely love Dr. Amy! I receive BioTe (BHRT) for 18 months now and it has helped me so much! If you have a hormone imbalance and symptoms that have changed you as a person, you need to go see Dr. Amy! I had no idea that all of my symptoms could be alleviated. Every reason that brought me in to see her are gone. I feel great, I’m losing weight and I am so extremely happy! Don’t suffer a day longer. Give Alvea Spa a call and get in to see Dr. Amy. You will not be disappointed! Oh and the spa staff is very welcoming and friendly too!

Took a leap and scheduled a cut and highlight. Went in and told the stylist I needed a trim. Showed her how much off, and she did an initial cut of that much. (About 2 inches). After completing the highlights, she began with cutting layers and trimming up my hair. Well, the trimming kept happening. My hair is 6 inches shorter than when I walked in. A far cry from what I showed her and her initial cut. Will never let her touch my hair again.

The 80 minute massage was great by Jennifer, as well as my facial by Stephanie! Great communication which is important for your services. The place was clean and relaxing. Price is reasonable for high quality treatment!

This review is about a pedicure I had last week. The chair they have for you to sit in for a pedicure is not conducive to getting a pedicure. If I sat back in the chair I'd be in a reclined position, the chair was not adjustable. I had to sit forward on the edge of the seat to soak my feet in a pan and then raise my foot onto the technicians knee while still sitting on the edge of the chair. Ridiculous. The technician was delightful and did a good job, but I will not schedule another pedicure here until they get a real pedicure chair.
