I was visiting a friend in Bolinas & booked a facial with her, as she came highly recommended. Sublime experience. Her salon is in an historic building on the main Drag in Bolinas, has a warm, low-key esthetic. No stress left after that amazing 1-hour facial. She also has her own line of organic skincare (try the geranium moisturizer & algae serum ❤️) & also stocks the fabulous Hungarian Eminence line . She's in Mill Valley too, apparently, so easier to get to for me from SV. Amanda is my new fave N CA facialist!

I was completely baffled and quite taken aback by Elizabeth's review of Amanda Ross, her staff, skin care salon and her products! Having been a successful actress for some 35 years now working in both television and film and a print and runway model prior to that, traversing (got my start as a local girl in San Francisco) Paris, Italy, Germany, Spain, London, Los Angeles and New York, I have worked with the best of the best skin care, makeup and hair professionals. I am most definitely an "educated consumer" when it comes to my skin and hair care and make it a priority, (in my business having youthful skin is imperative) to be in the "know" regarding the most up to date skin care products, knowledge is power, right........? Greta Garbo was once quoted as saying, "the secret to her beauty was sleeping 10 to 12 hours a night, drinking copious amounts of water and using a good face moisturizer!" I live by those words and have tried every imaginable type of skin care product from La Mer to Clinique. Many have been wonderful with great results, some very expensive with not so good results and others, well, others I could certainly do without.
Quite simply, Amanda and her amazing 90 minute facials, her age defying skin care products, her lovely, knowledgable masseuses and staff have helped to transform my skin to the point that people never, and I do mean never, believe that I am the age that I am. My 17 year old daughter tells me all of the time that none of her friends, after meeting me for the first time, can believe how old I am! Having grown up on the beaches of California without wearing sunscreen, long before people really understood the damage caused by the sun, I am beyond grateful for what Amanda has created for skin care, so much so, that I have sent many a client to her and have bought her products for all of my friends and both of my daughters who have since become hooked on her products as well! I am a firm believer that seeing and trying is believing, well this girl is a true believer!!!
Amanda Ross is a consummate professional, kind and generous with her time, knowledgable beyond reproach, her products create visible results, and her salon is an impeccably clean serene haven of local art work and freshly picked roses, relaxing music and laughter.
Whenever I go for a facial, massage of to buy my products, I feel as though I've stepped into a little slice a heaven.

I was gifted a couple of products and fell in love. My daughter loves the clarifying oil, my cousin and I love the firmimg sea fennel eye cream (it's eye wrinkle erasure in a bottle), and we all love the Nectar of Youth that is instant ahhh! Try it and you'll be hooked!
As with quality items, a little goes a long way and these product are AMAGING!!!
