It had been almost a year and a half since my last haircut and a full year since I colored my hair. My hair was super dry and damaged, and I knew it needed some serious love. Angelina at Urban District Salon took on the challenge, and she was nothing short of amazing!

As a military spouse, moving to a new area and trying to find a new salon and stylist can be such a daunting task. I’m not a fan of streamlined salons where you’re just another name on a list. I truly appreciate salons that are smaller and more personalized, where the staff takes the time to get to know you and your preferences. That’s exactly the experience I had with Angelina—she made me feel welcome and comfortable from the start.

From the moment I walked in, she asked all the right questions to make sure we were on the same page, and she made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. Angelina took the time to truly understand what I wanted and customized the perfect color formula that matched my inspiration picture perfectly. The cut, color, and care she gave my hair not only brought it back to life but also gave me a boost of confidence.

Some people don’t realize how much getting your hair done can transform not just your look but also your mood and mental state. We discussed the best way to get my hair back to a healthy state, which included cutting off at least 8 inches. While it was a bit shocking at first to go shorter, the results were far beyond what I had expected! My hair feels so fresh and healthy, and I’m absolutely in love with the final look.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you, Angelina, for the incredible job you did on my hair! I’m so glad I found you, and I’ll definitely be back for my future appointments. Thanks again for making me feel so confident and fabulous!

My hair was severely damaged and has numerous color blends. It was frizzy and curly. Angelina took a lot of time looking at my hair and coming up with a plan to correct it. She shared her thoughts with me and let me know it would take 2-3 seasons to get my hair back on track. After the first session I loved my hair. Highly recommend!!

If I could give 100 stars I would! Angelina was not only personable but very knowledgeable. I wasn't really sure what I wanted but had an idea and she took the time to listen to my concerns and wants and was open and honest about what would and would not work for my hair. My hair turned out amazing! I am going on day 3 and it still looks perfect. She was able to hide a mistake made from my last stylist that left a hole in my hair. She is a miracle worker and I am so glad and lucky to have found her. ( The hair color only looks different in these pictures because of the lighting.)
