this is my favorite bar on the planet. vibes for days. i stayed in japan ten days and went here three times. perfect for one or two people. three is a stretch unless you get the one corner spot. bar tender is a real one. don’t go if you’re going to be loud or annoying or finicky.

Randomly found while strolling ‘round the ‘hood. One of those places you’d want bring anybody to but also which you’d like to keep secret. Best homemade cocktails. Best music. Best atmosphere.

The first vinyl bar I hit in Tokyo, and also the best one out of the 5 I’ve been to. Completely underrated, and hard to locate via google maps.

A great selection of whiskey and a few others in rums and spirits, thankfully fairly interesting ones at that. Prices were very reasonable and our group of 4 stayed for a good portion of the night.

DJ has amazing taste, a touch of city pop, 90s hip hop, complemented with jazz. Light fixtures and decor really set the mood here. A must to come back for sure.

The bar looks amazing and the host is cool but, it has to be said, not the friendliest. I sat down next to a guy who lit up a cigarette and it felt this was going to be loooooong. There are other places nearby; although they won’t have as good a record collection they won’t judge you so harshly.

The music was good; but the guy has a stick up the wazoo and is unfortunately a total mood kill. So if you’re looking to listen to good music in a detention camp setting then come here. He should be running a detention camp and not a bar. This is the place where fun comes to die. A very strange, uptight, unwelcoming and socially inept individual. Echoing previous reviews, he definitely picks and chooses which customers he is friendly to and which one he likes to go full Stalin on. He’s like a creepy doll collector, but instead of creepy dolls he has records.

Best vinyl bar ever. The bartender listened to conversation and would choose music based on what we were talking about each other mixing vinyl & music videos from DVDs. He has good taste in music.
