Lovely, clean spa ! I got a wonderful scrub from Gina and would recommend her.

The spa provides complimentary razors and toothbrushes, as well as body lotions, toners, etc. which is nice. The jimjilbang has an ice room, jade room, clay room, and Himalayan salt room.

The cafe attached is delicious - we got the veggie sundubu (without the egg since I’m vegan) and veggie bibimbap. We both wished it was hot stone bibimbap ! But it was still delicious even without the hot stone.

This Korean spa is much more expensive than what I’m used to in Los Angeles - $45 entry or $95 for a 30 minute scrub seems high to me. They do have kahuna massage chairs that you’re allowed to use for 30 minutes which are a nice addition. Unfortunately when we went there was 1 out of order and 3 more that weren’t fully functioning.

Also while we were there, both the toilets in the women’s restroom were out of order which was not ideal !

I’ve came here 3 times. The spa experience was exceptional. With the basic $40 admission fee, you can enjoy unlimited jacuzzis, sauna, 30-min massage chair, WiFi etc. The place is very clean and well maintained.

I tried their food court this time, my only complaint is the waiting time. I could tell from the screen there are a few stacked orders. But when I asked waiting time, the guy still told me my food will be ready in 5 min. He lied and I waited way longer than that.

Very rude customer service. They told us they close at 10 pm and gave us a tour, knowing it was our first time there. Later, when we were about to use the sauna, the staff suddenly informed us that it closes at 9:45 pm. They said, "Every customer knows our rule sauna closes at 9:45, it's on our website." However, it was clear that we did not know this. I suggested that they could at least put up a sign to inform customers in the future, but the owner arrogantly replied, "No, we won't put any signs and we don't need that! You should know even though you are a walk-in customer!" They were rude and arrogant throughout the whole time when we addressed this. One more star is because they allowed us to use the sauna when we said we gonna ask for refunds, but with very bad attitude.

BAY SPA is a really well maintained spa. It's very clean and has various services including a free massage chair and a cafe with South Korean dishes.
The staff is very professional and friendly. Also, the daily pass price is very reasonable (40 bucks) and you can actually save 5 bucks per day if you buy a bundle pass.
Customers are also very good. Mostly Eastern European and Asian. So, they are well cultured. I saw very weird and creepy customers in other places.
I highly recommend this place.

The owner takes Koreans down. It's very funny. It's because she was speaking Korean with a very Korean face. If it wasn't for the only spa in the Bay Area, I wouldn't have gone again. I've never heard such disparaging remarks about Koreans anywhere in the Bay Area.

Highly recommend the Bay Spa for a traditional Korean scrub! My skin feels absolutely amazing and the woman who gave me the scrub was extremely thorough. The amenities were clean and well maintained, and the cafe food was delicious. I really enjoyed the salt room as well. I will definitely be coming back to the Bay Spa!

“A Well-Deserved Escape and Self-Care Reset”

I can’t believe it’s been over a year since my last visit—November 2023, to be exact. The second half of 2024 felt like something straight out of a psychological thriller. Between the chaos of life and being at a toxic, abusive corporate company, I completely forgot to take care of myself.

Coming back to Bay Club Spa has been such a gift to myself. I treated myself to a 90-minute scrub with Jenny, which included a massage, face mask, and even a hair wash. I forgot how incredible her service is! Jenny is an absolute gem, and I’m already planning my next visit to see her. Just a heads-up: remember to bring cash for tips. She works every day except Wednesdays, but if you want a quieter experience, aim for Monday through Thursday, as weekends tend to get pretty busy.

Another delightful surprise: they finally opened their café! It serves a variety of delicious dishes, including Korean food—perfect for refueling after a relaxing treatment.

This visit was a gentle reminder to be kinder to myself. If you’re considering a visit, don’t hesitate. Take the time to unwind, recharge, and invest in your well-being. You deserve it.

New and clean SPA, with good devices. You can find almost everything you need for Sauna: dry and wet sauna room, 3 types of jade room, hot tub, a lot of massage chairs which function well.. I would give a 5 star except for the following.

In man's wet Sauna room, I constantly saw gays helping each other or themselves for masturbation. I was in the wet room for 3-4 times, and I saw around 30% - 40% people there doing such behavior, which I feel that some people are just leveraging the man's wet Sauna room as their secret garden. I am mostly worried about how clean the room could really be which holds me back from enjoying the wet / steam Sauna. My wife told me on women side, there is no such behavior and everything is more than normal.

Unfortunately I don't know what the owner can do for better guidance or education to avoid such behavior. It is what it is. I will still encourage my wife to be there but for me I would think twice about it before my next visit. This is also a heads up to those straight males in case you have never seen this situation before.
