This place has been here a really long time. She used to cut my dad’s hair. I don’t live in the area anymore but my mom still does. Took my son here today. He hates getting his hair cut because he has had bad experiences where his ear has been nicked. After his haircut today he said she was very gentle and he felt comfortable. They are very friendly. Called when they opened on a Saturday and they were able to squeeze us in.

If I could give the place zero stars I would! This is the absolute worst place I have ever reviewed with absolutely impolite, rude, and unprofessional staff. I got a haircut here and my hair was cut in 10 minutes flat, even though I have very long hair, and it was very uneven! My brother has also gotten a haircut here 3 times, and all 3 times Grace and Verna (the mother and daughter who are the only people who work here and run this business) were fighting and swearing about personal matters and cutting my brothers hair while they were fighting, leading to my brother's hair being cut very unevenly! And that's not all. The last time one of the stylist cut my brother's hair, they brought their dog to their workplace and their dog was not on a leash and got so excited that for some reason, he chased me out of the store. One of the stylists came out, did not apologize for her dog's behavior and said he was very sweet when he just chased me out out of salon and showed me attitude because I was scared of him, which was very rude and impolite, and should be shown to customers, especially just because I was afraid of dogs. Then when I went inside, the stylist started showing attitude and cutting my brother's hair resulting in his hair being very uneven and she started fighting with the other stylist who was her mom because they had differing opinions whether the dog should be on a leash or not and fighting about other personal matters between them in front of me and my brother! I have had a very unpleasant three visits to this place, and i have tried to be respectful and not post a bad review because they’re a mother and daughter run business, but now unless you want an uneven haircut and exposure to rude workers who scream and fight about personal matters in front of you, do not come here!

Grace and Verna are two of the sweetest ladies you'll ever meet and are professionals at their craft. I'm usually in and out in about 10 minutes with a great haircut at a great price! Highly recommended.

Unprofessional, ungrateful, and not to be trusted. I had been a regular here for about a year, and recently went in for my usual cut. Aside from her typical conversational crudeness, all seemed well... Until the end. After handing her the usual $20 from which I expected the usual $4 change back, since the price had always been $16, she took my money and barked, "$21!" I was stunned. As a regular, I would have expected a verbal warning about this before receiving the cut, or at least, out of honesty, an admission about this BEFORE TAKING MY MONEY AND THEN DEMANANDING MORE. I was stunned. However, being the good customer that I am, I am forgiving, and plus I have a habit of tipping. So instead of getting angry about her deceit, I handed her $2 with the extra dollar as a tip, after which, again, she barked while shaking her head, "FOR YOU," and handed me one of my dollars back. WHAT A RUDE AND UNGRATEFUL SNAKE! DO NOT GET NEAR THIS WOMAN WITH A 10 FOOT POLE!

Though the salon itself doesn't look very impressive, I can confidently say they know their craft! I've spent my entire adult life visiting new salons and they are definitely up there with their attentiveness, efficiency, and welcoming vibes. Will definitely return 🙂

This is a true family business, run in a very personable yet efficient manner by a very wonderful family. I've been getting my hair cut by Grace, her husband Eric, and their daughter Virna for the last twenty years. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. They price their haircuts competitively and give you a quality cut. Best of all, you want to come back as you feel like an extended part of their family.
