Not using Paul Mitchell coloring as advertised, uses CLIC coloring, heat went off while processing and still waited 15 minutes before the foils were removed. When I got home and noticed I had bald spots, asked the owner about my missing hair and he stated the bald spots were there. I walked in with my hair in a high ponytail!

I’ve been debating whether to leave this review or not since October 31, 2024. But, I figured I would’ve liked to have known all this before I scheduled an appointment here. First things first, as I read the about me section on the website I liked everything that I read. It said we focus on 100%, we don’t double book, your appointment starts on time and you leave on time. Also that there are plenty of refreshments and snacks available. So I was really excited.… I arrived to my appointment 15 minutes early. The salon was empty except for Ben and one client. He seemed to have just started working on her shortly before I arrived. Ben came to the front desk and looked at me a bit confused. I told him I had an appointment. He said ok it’ll be about 20 minutes. Not a big deal, I did arrive 15 minutes early seemed reasonable. 20 minutes goes by. 30 minutes goes by. 40 minutes goes by. I go over to look and see where he’s at with the other client. He is just now starting to foil her hair. Mind you he hasn’t said a word to me since he told me it’ll be 20 minutes. I go back over to my friend that was with me. I told her what I saw and asked her doesn’t that take a long time? I’ve never had foils done. She said yes, it does! So she goes over and asks him how much longer, because you said 20 minutes and it’s now been 40. He said 20 more minutes. So she asked me if I want to leave. I told her no we’ve already waited this long and I really want my haircut. So at about the 1hr mark, he comes over to ask me what I want done. I tell him I just want a haircut. I show him a couple pictures of what I want. Very simple. I told him I wouldn’t be able to have my hair washed. I am in a wheelchair so I did that before at home. I also asked him to please put it in a braided ponytail before he cut it. He said ok come on back. We go back I get positioned. My friend took my hair down. Ben comes over, doesn’t brush my hair make it smooth anything. Grabs one of my hair ties wraps it around and just cuts. Didn’t bother, braiding it for me like I asked and messily throws it in the Ziploc bag. He starts on my hair. I was a little surprised that he didn’t wet my hair at all. My hair was dry because I had showered that morning and this was about 6PM. During the cut, he had to check on the other client. She got a little concerned at one point worried that it had been on too long. But he went and checked it and said it was fine. After my cut, I asked him if he could blow off my wheelchair to get all the hair off. He did a little bit, but then my friend came over and did it more because there was still a lot of hair all over. He walked up to the front counter, waiting for me to pay. He didn’t even brush my hair back for me. It was all in my face when he walked up to the front desk, waiting for me to pay. My haircut for $75+ tax which was supposed to come with a shampoo & conditioner, scalp massage, and blow dry. You think he could’ve brushed my hair back and tried to shape it a little bit. Seeing as he didn’t have to wash it or massage it. Not to mention, I didn’t get offered one refreshment or snack the entire time I was there and my appointment started an hour late. The only two things that were decent about my experience. The conversation during my haircut was nice and my hair did turn out really nice. Thank God!

I travel for a living so I am often missing hair appointments. I was in town visiting family when I decided to find a salon to get a cut and bayalage touchup. I was hesitant at first not knowing the salon and having to trust online reviews, but I am so glad I came! Michelle was a phenomenal stylist who spent so much time going over every detail of my head from my color to toner and cut. I walked out of there feeling like a new woman. Will definitely work her into my schedule for future hair sessions.

Ben did such a great job coloring my hair. I had tried to do my hair brown at home and it turned out really bad and very red. I went in for a consultation and he was able to tell me up front exactly what we would need to do to eliminate the red and exactly how much it would cost (I’ve been to many salons before who are very vague about pricing which is so annoying). I was able to get in immediately which was great to not have to wait several days with my ugly red hair. Not only was it a reasonable price point but the end color was exactly what I was hoping for. I wasn’t sure how much it could be fixed in one session but it honestly turned out so so good and looks better than I imagined. 10/10 would recommend. The pics on the left show my at home attempt. I accidentally did a bright red and then a brown on top which ended in a very mahogany color🥴. The right pic is the finished color from Ben which I am so so happy with

Ben is a superbly talented professional, and I was thrilled with the incredible job he did on my teen daughter's very long hair, giving it both style and movement while reducing its considerable weight. She absolutely loved the cut. Beyond that, we both found Ben to be not just a fantastic stylist but a truly remarkable human being as well. Of course, we want a great haircut, but I also like to be intentional with my hard-earned money and spend it by supporting good people in business - and in that respect, we are also delighted to have found this salon. Would we use this salon as an excuse to take a trip and travel 1,700 miles back to Cocoa, FL to visit again? Why not?

Ok, so I realize that my before picture is hideous, but the end result was so fantastic I had to share it. Michelle is not only talented, but somehow she took a head full of cotton candy and turned it into soft, healthy hair with a beautiful cut. A picture’s worth a thousand words. Thank you Michelle. Ben and Sarah are the best stylists hands down. I’m so thankful for them. Thank you to the both of you! Ben was the first hair stylist in a very long time to deliver exactly what I wanted my hair to look like and style and he was spot on. Sarah did my retouch and trim and she was spot on also. I trust both of them and recommend them to everyone.
