Purchased an 80 minute therapeutic massage for $270 plus a mandatory $54 service charge.
Received much less hands on time than 80 minutes. Probably closer to ~60 minutes. The massage was closer to a relaxation massage than a much more expensive therapeutic massage. The massage was wonderful, it just fell short of what I expected.
Approximately 20 minutes of my 80 minute massage wad was used for the following:
Therapist (T) met me in the women’s waiting room upstairs and escorted me to the massage room downstairs (took the stairs)
After a Q&A from therapist the therapist left the massage room so that I could remove my robe and lie down on the massage table.
T returned to massage room to get my robe to take it to a heated place.
After massage T left the room to retrieve robe.

A quick fix to the wasted time is to:
1) include in the waiver a questionnaire for client to complete BEFORE the massage, so no massage time is used on Q&A.
2) Tell the client to meet the therapist at the massage room.
3) Ask client if they want their therapist to use time to heat the robe or not. I would rather have that time spent on the $324 massage than a heated robe.

This is a review of the overall facility not of the wonderful ladies that did our pedicures. We called two weeks in advance to ask about the spa services. We were told that if we booked at least a $100 pedicure we would have access to the spa pool and sauna. We booked at that time for 5 women to get pedicures (most booked the more expensive pedicure services) and assumed we would have access to the spa pool. We called again a week in advance to make sure we were could have access to the pool. We drove 2 and a half hours to enjoy the spa services. However, when we arrived we were told that we would not have access to the pool because we didn’t book any massages. We weren’t allowed to do anything except go into the salon were we got our pedicures. We wouldn’t have bothered driving 2 and a half hours just to get our toes done. The place is pretty and the women who did our nails were great but I would avoid this place at all costs. Very false advertising, wouldn’t recommend this spot to anyone. The policies they say they have to get you here are not the actual policies they enforce.

Worst massage my wife has ever had… We were celebrating a special occasion and rented a room for a night. We were nice, but let the front desk know since it was a $500 couples massage experience. We also called and sent in a few messages. Never heard back.

We are shocked because we recommend Big Cedar to so many family and friends over the years.

Way over priced for the services offered. Had a pedicure and told them maybe I shouldn't have a massage 2 hours right after and they said that you'll be fine. Nail smudged had to come back the next day to get them fixed. Didn't seem very apologetic and we had to drive 20 minutes. My massage felt very rushed. Was only on the massage table for 45 minutes and they charged me for a 60-minute massage. I was very disappointed.

LOVE. Everything about this place is so beautiful, thought out, and clean. I felt so pampered and spent several hours there after my massage. All of the amenities are wonderful! The sauna was probably my favorite, followed by the grotto. It's dark and relaxing with a nice hot mineral water pool. The ice sauna was also a fun experience! My massage therapist was wonderful and the massage rooms were spacious and well decorated with awesome warmed massage tables.

They also had indoor and outdoor showers available with the indoor having everything you need (shampoo, conditioner, bodywash.)
Can't wait to come back!

Everything was great, it was the perfect birthday weekend in Branson. The Hilton was great, the food around town was great, and the dinner at Top of the Rock was spectacular. The massage and spa were also incredible, that was until a person named Heather Minnen from the spa decided to ruin my entire weekend by being extremely rude and unhelpful at checkout. First of all, when we booked the massage when we called the first time we were told a couples massage would be $720. We booked and then called back and said nevermind that was very expensive, so then someone said oh no worries, we can just book you as two separate massages in the same room for $190 each. We said ok well $380 is way better than $720 so we will come by. They couldn't refund us at the time and we had to wait til we got there. So, we got our massage that day then when we went to check out and had a coupon for 20% off that I had gotten in my email. I had called to see if this coupon on would work - the gentleman on the phone said that since you are local - Bentonville Arkansas being local - that we could just show our ID to the person at checkout and they would honor the 20% discount for being local per the coupon I received. Heather was so reluctant to let us use the discount she asked two of her colleagues and a manager when they were all saying YES it is OK to use the discount she kept searching for a way to shut us down and tell us NO. It was very rude. It felt as though she just wanted to ruin our great weekend, when the whole weekend in Branson had been an excellent vibe. It sucks because the spa is so nice, but Heather Minnen rained on my parade. Will never forget it. I am always one to rather leave an excellent review then a bad one, but in this case she needs to learn how to treat people with respect and kindness. Then when she finally agreed to consider Bentonville local and give us the discount she then printed a receipt for me and the discount wasn't there, as if she was trying to scam me. Watch your back around there. I have spent a lot of money at this spa, and the area around Top of The Rock, but I will consider taking my business elsewhere going forward.

My consultation to "customize" the massage lasted about 1 miute. I specifically mentioed that my hamstrigs were tight and so were my quads and I've been under some stress and my shoulders were quite tight.
While the spa is well appointed and has a nice helful staff, my massage was not what we discussed at the interview. It was the first time I've ever had a full body massage where only the back and back of legs were treated. I was startled when my therapist asked if I was relaxed and that my robe was on the foot of the bed. I was expecting her to say turn over.
My therapist was very nice and her work on my back was good, the table is heated which is nice.
Let's just leave it there, excet it was well over $200 and I'm unlikely to return on my next visit
