I got a straight across cut (1 1/2 inches off) from Ally and the experience was okay. She did not completely rinse the shampoo and conditioner out of my hair which was awkward to point out. She used 5 different products in my hair during the blow dry which felt excessive for my fine hair. I probably could’ve said not to use so many products but was already feeling weird about the shampoo thing and I had already told her I don’t use any product on my hair typically. As I got back outside I notice my sweater was completely wet on the back from the rinsing; and on a cold Dec day that was pretty unpleasant. I think for $75+tip a bit more care could be taken to consider the client and their comfort. Could’ve gone to Great Clips for that service.

Decided to be brave and have my first salon experience and was not disappointed! Alleyna is amazing at reading the vibe of her customers and absolutely delivers! My nerves were quickly quelled by the great environment and her calm energy. PLUS I got a great haircut (obviously lol)

Ally, always listens and goes above and beyond to make my recommendation a reality. Very friendly and helpful with hair care and products! She is a highlighting specialist and highly recommended. Plus the salon is right next to cute coffee shop.

My normal hair stylist got sick so I booked an appointment for hair and make up for an event last minute here. It started great! I’m pretty flexible and have a lot of hair so when I was having some discomfort during my blow out I didn’t think much of it but after a day my scalp is actually burned a bit from the blow dryer being held too long and too close in spots. I asked for some curls and a half up style, it looked really pretty when I left but within an hr the curls did not stay. A bit bummed I could’ve done heatless curls in my hair the night before and they would’ve lasted all day but what can ya do I resorted to having to touch it up at home. I liked how the front looked and the half twist stayed all day/night. Unfortunately my make up was not great. The lighting in the salon made it hard for me to gauge how bad until
I got outside and it was not a good color match nor blended well. I kinda wish she would’ve just said no I can’t do the make up but I was in a pinch so I appreciate that she tried to accommodate me. I ended up taking it all off and just did something really simple at home. The staff is super cool overall and the salon is really nice. I don’t think I would come back here for event hair/make up but maybe a simple hair cut without heat styling and trying a different hair stylist.

The Salon and stylist reached out and apologized and I appreciate that a lot. I also could've handled things a lot differently when I booked my appointment.

I booked a haircut (cut, wash and blowout) with Christine and I was more than happy with the entire experience! I have had a lot of bad experiences in the past with getting my hair cut, so I walked into the salon a bit nervous! My hair is really long and everyone in the past has always cut to much off or cut it uneven. Christine was awesome! She listened to what I wanted and cut it to perfect length! We had great conversation too! Iv been looking for someone I can trust with my hair for years now! I will definitely be returning to Christine!

I visit Leslie Pietsch, who rents a chair there. She's the only service I've used at the salon, so I can only comment on her. She's great! Gives a really, really good haircut - whether your hair is straight or curly, fine or coarse. I've been seeing Leslie for years, and I've always been really happy with the cuts she gives me. She also does a really great job of coloring, as well.
I wrote this several years ago, and it's as true now as it was then. Leslie does really good work!
