Hey I think this place is beautiful and great nice staff. My daughters and I have curly hair and would go to Amy as she is the best with our hair type. Amy left and I couldn't find her. Praise God I found her she us at Curl Creations off market St. It's her own salon hence the Curl Creations. So if anyone is looking for her like I was she's there.

I’m going to tell my story in hopes that it saves someone else from what I’ve been dealing with.

I was a return client, having had a great experience prior to new ownership. Emphasis on WAS. I booked my appointment via phone and discussed with the receptionist what I was looking for. When I checked in with the stylist I told her exactly what I wanted and showed her photos: a trim while keeping length, full very blonde cooler toned highlights, to lighten my overall hair/cover greys. I wanted a winter pop!

The stylist seemed to understand and threw in the word dimension, I was loving the idea of two tones of blonde to brighten my look.
Well. She added warm toned low lights, darkened my whole head, chopped 4+ inches off of my hair, added uneven layers, and left me in tears. As she started drying I noticed it wasn’t nearly what I had asked for. I spoke with the receptionist about my absolute dislike of the services I received, it was NOT what I wanted and that I in fact hated the way my hair looked. She offered to call the owner, left another customer hanging who was just wanting to buy product (who ended up walking out).

When the receptionist returned, she took photos of my hair and suggested that I email the owner directly (as she had conveniently left while hearing me upset and didn’t have an alternative means of communication) and let her know what was going on, to send photos of inspiration vs outcome. She then told me that the owner was willing to “fix” my hair at an additional cost. I stated that I didn’t want her to “fix” it, I’d just like to be discounted the services that I didn’t even ask for. The receptionist “didn’t have the authority to do so.”

I paid the exorbitant fee and immediately emailed the owner. No response. I tried calling the salon multiple times and they aren’t answering…

It’s my loss and a learning lesson, however, I’m disgusted by the owner’s complete disregard for proper costumer service and conscience. I’m going to Salon @ 1150 to have my hair hopefully repaired to where I don’t hate looking in the mirror.

I have been a loyal client of Boheme. I am also the most forgiving person and even when I have gotten hair appointments from them I didn’t like I just let it go. The one time I am greatly dissatisfied with my color, I asked for a balayage and got full on highlights, I got a hair cut one month prior and didn’t realize how horrible it was done. My layers were way off and not a hair on my head was evenly cut.

I would NOT RECOMMEND THEM, the girls are very nice but the owner was horribly rude and would not work with me with getting any refund. I ended up going to Salon at 11 50 to fix my hair because they didn’t call me to reschedule.

The owner knows absolutely nothing about hair, and she was very very mean. Really upset with how this place has changed. This place is so over priced. I really hope no one goes through what I went through. Please save your money and go to Salon @ Eleven 50, those ladies are so kind and know what they are doing. They also don’t charge an arm and a leg.

I'm so sad to see all the low ratings for this salon! It used to be great but my last few experiences confirm that the new ownership change just wasn't it for this place. Everytime I've gone in, I just don't get what I asked for, except for the second to last time I came in, that stylist was great. But the most recent time I went in, I showed the stylist inspo pics and it's like she didn't even care what I showed her. She gave me the choppiest bob I've ever had in my life. The layers are not blended in at all and after styling it, she left me looking like a 90's news anchor 😅 Once I got home and re-washed and styled my hair to my preference, I realized the haircut wasn't that bad, but it's not even close to the inspo pics I showed her. The stylist seemed so rushed the whole time (except for one other stylist and client, the salon was scarily EMPTY), she washed my hair with boiling water, then ice cold water, bopped my hair with the dryer multiple times without ever apologizing, was really rough during the cut and styling, and again, left it styled horribly. I take offense to the styling honestly because do I look like someone that prefers 90s style hair? haha Really wish this place the best because it used to be great, but I'm never coming back here. 🤷🏻‍♀️It's incredibly overpriced for outdated and underwhelming services.

This place is riding on the 5-Stars of its previous owner on Dana Drive. The new owner and location has lost its good reputation. I am no longer returning as a long term customer especially after the new owner raised her voice at me for inquiring about how I might redeem my credit - hoping that you were going to honor the good care and service the previous owner had for her customers.

Will not return. Appointment was for a French manicure, when I got there, the lady does not do French manicures. Person making appointments does not know who does what service. No cuticle push back, barely filed nails, less than a minute hand massage that was so light it could have been a child’s hands, then polish. $40 for basically a polish application. The last few times I have been there were extremely disappointing. I left while polish was still wet, came home and re did it myself. I have to save to be able to have a manicure, once a year usually and what a waste of money.

I have had waist length hair most of my life. I had just turned 56 years old March 21st, my husband and I just celebrated our 36th wedding anniversary, May 9th. I needed a change! 16 inches gone! Elene made my whole experience unforgettable!

After the original owner left , I could tell after going there for years (since 2009) I probably would not go back. I had a gift card with about $100 left on it and when I tried to redeem it at the new location, it couldn’t be done. All the system would say, was that it had a “balance” but no numerics, so they would not allow me to use it. I chalked it up to their loss and just moved on.
