I was a little shy to admit how long it had been since my hair got any attention but Marti, who I sat with for the day, made me feel so welcomed & so comfortable. She was genuinely excited to work on my hair & WOW did she do an amazing job! Not only is she exceptionally talented in her craft but the attention to detail & passion for what she does came shining through! Overall I had a fabulous experience, I’m thrilled about my hair! After reaching out for a consultation with Marti we had a phone call to discuss my hair needs and goals. In that phone call I instantly felt a connection as if I were talking with a longtime friend. Shortly after I sent her various inspiration photos and we were off and running. I really appreciate that Marti was all about establishing a relationship with me as a client and starting first with only a haircut appointment to ensure we were a good fit.

For my second appointment, we focused on color with foil balayage. Marti took her time, consulted with me for each step of the process, and did not rush me out the door. She brought my new color vision to life and I couldn't be happier!

Overall, Marti creates such a welcoming and warm environment from the moment you step into her studio. She is an expert at her craft and I'm so grateful to have found her - Marti is a hidden gem in the over-saturated marketplace of hair colorists.

Marti is a genius! I had been coloring my own hair and she took the mess I made and gave me the prettiest, most natural looking color. She explained the techniques along the way (a lot of chemistry involved) which made me feel so comfortable with the process. One unique aspect of the appointment is how she really assessed my face shape and how I wear my hair before she started the cut.
Marti is also down to earth, and I never felt judged for my hair mistakes.
The salon is bright and friendly and in a great location in Old Town Monrovia.

She really listened to me and at the same time was able to explain the process, for my hair in particular. Normally the first few days after a haircut, I don’t really like it- this was the FIRST time that didn’t happen! I woke up loving it even more the next day! Thank you, Marti!
