I’ve know James since 2008 when he was the creator and salon owner of the incredible Salon Visio in fabulous Hood River, Oregon.

I am visiting Palm Springs for a month and had to get my hair done from James.

The space is perfectly set up for one on one spa like treatment and James magic hair touch.

I absolutely love my color and am looking forward to the next time I get to be in James chair.

His scalp massages are deluxe and you will feel like a new person when you leave.

I highly recommend you book your appointment with James ASAP.

I recently moved to the area to be closer to my father who is getting on in age, so I've had to start from scratch with everything.

I got a new doctor, a dentist, and a place to buy gas and groceries.

Now I have my new barber, so my new start is coming together rather nicely as I'm slowly checking off the necessities of life.

Everybody's checklist has an order of priorities and for me, a good barber is right up there at the top.

So I got really lucky finding James because his shop was the first place I tried.

An hour of pleasant, private conversation in a cool, clean atmosphere was all I had hoped it would be and more.

Nobody waiting for their turn behind me, no babies crying or kids running around asking for lollipops and my hair never looked better.

James has a way of making you feel like you've known each other for years and he knows what he's doing when it comes to cutting hair.

So my new life in a new town is coming together rather nicely.

Oh, I might decide to get gas at a different station or buy groceries at a different store. I think I'll probably even check around for a different primary physician.

But I don't have any reservations about knowing that I found my barber.

Hands down, Barry is the best hair stylist I have EVER been to. A snowbird from Oregon, I tried several different stylists in the Palm Springs area, and finally....Barry gets it!! He listens to what his clients want and offers his own spin on what he thinks will look best on you. His space is light and bright and personal. When you are with Barry, he makes sure you feel comfortable and cared for. We leave in a few days to head back to Oregon, and I'm honestly considering flying back sometime this summer so that he can do his magic....Yes....He is that good!!

For me, an appointment at Brush is like a morning at a spa (without the steam room, robe & floppy sandals). The surroundings are glamorous, and the view is spectacular. Brush is a compact space tucked away in an historic building in downtown Palm Springs. It is just you and your master stylist Barry who offers a wide,range,of salon,services. Barry Nadeau has trained with the finest and provides a relaxing, refreshing experience. I have been very pleased with the results of every visit. He has,a great website for a menu of services and prices, as well as making appointments (well in advance -- he is very popular). 5 stars
