I have been to multiple shops in Redding over the past 4 years in the search of a good barber, and over and over I was left dissatisfied. The last shop I went to put the towel in the microwave and blistered my scalp. Tried out choppers today and by far the best experience I have ever had. Ryan’s shop is clean and has a good vibe, on top of that he knows what he’s doing. I will be becoming a regular here.

I took both my sons to get their first haircuts at a real barber (ages 5 & 11) and they loved the experience and their hair looks amazing !
Ryan really took the time to make sure they were comfortable and that their hair was cut exactly as they wanted!
My 11 year old had their hair done about a week before my 5 year old who was super scared. Instead of Ryan (and I) making him get his haircut at the first appointment I made for him, Ryan gave him a lollipop to make him more comfortable and 5 days later he was calm and ready to have his hair cut!
Ryan is such a caring and talented barber who truly listens to each client and encourages them to have the best experience ever!
I could never say enough about how wonderful this barber and his super cool ‘Choppers Barber Shop’ is except thank you, thank you, thank you!
I highly suggest anyone and everyone to check this place out!

Ryan is an awesome guy and a master at his craft! It was my first time letting a Barber cut my hair, but I Love it! Great comfortable atmosphere and I will be going back! His prices are unbeatable and got in quick too! My grandson got his hair cut for his high school graduation the other day and Ryan slayed it. My grandson was so happy and said he's going to him from now on.

So glad that Ryan got his own place Solid dude or do great cuts. Great prices and the best part is, He stays open later than most so us Working folks can still get an amazing cut.
