His salon is warm and vibrant not only from his presence, but also from the self-created art that adorns his walls and every space in between. I have had the pleasure of getting my hair colored and styled by Chris for a year now and I’m incredibly glad I found him. I had given up on my hair. I hadn't left a hair salon feeling good about my hair for years. I started to believe it was my fault and that no one would ever please me. I've traveled to many big cities. I've gone to well-known hairstylists in New York, Philadelphia, Boston, Chicago,,, and every time I left, I felt this doesn't look good. I'm not happy with it. Maybe it'll grow in and I'll like it better. After moving to California 17 months ago, my daughter kept hearing me say how I couldn't find anyone to cut my hair. She said “Mommy on your next visit to Florida please go to my hair stylist.” I took her advice and 10 weeks ago went to Chris David. First, I loved the atmosphere of his his salon. He was the most friendly, creative, interesting and easy person to speak to. When I walked out after having spent a few hours there having Chris do my hair, I actually really loved my hair. It was an interesting new style. It was unique. I was happy and I had had a wonderful experience being there. Little did I know it would actually look good for a number of days and each time after I washed it. It was so easy to style, and I was still able to make it look very free and happy for the following nine weeks. The style continued to be beautiful. Chris is truly an artist at what he does. He has a unique way of cutting and a unique style that I had never before experienced. He took quality time cutting and coloring my hair in a sensitive, caring, and creative manner tailored to the unique qualities of my hair and fitting my personality. I love talking to him. He is truly a blessing and I'm so grateful to have met him. I look forward to many more Chris David haircuts.

this place is worth the hour drive for me! I love it here! Chris, Mitch, and Paul are all amazing and I had so much fun. Mitch gave me a perfect haircut and color/tone! The salon owner is an artist and place is super fun and vibey! Def worth the trip from anywhere

This is a very great place. The owner has great energy. He is a live wire and that is what you want because you wanna be entertained you don’t wanna be bored during a haircut impeccable taste impeccable style ambience is great. There’s also excellent side service. Let’s just say you will have surprises and they will be good ones as long as you have a little bit of cool in you then you will fit right in and if you don’t have any cool in you, you’re gonna come outta here feeling like the fonz and if you’re too young to know what that means, you’re gonna come out of here like subzero doing a finish him on scorpion and that’s what I call cold what’s cool cooler than being cool ice cool That’s these guys they are your neighbor, so lend them some sugar

Went for a consultation. Chris is a non-stop talker you won't get a word in. He's mean, and he's rude. He pushed me into coming in on his schedule, saying it would take him 2 minutes to take a quick look, but he kept me waiting for more than a half hour. When I tried to tell him I had another appointment to get to, he blew up. Chris needs to learn to listen. No wonder Mitchell quit.

Chris could not explain how he would cut my hair. My hair is thick, and it takes a specialty skilled person to cut it. He spent the entire time trashing my hair because it was easier to trash me than admit he didn't know how to cut it. He also didn't like that I interrupted his incessant babbling by waveing my arm in the air to get his attention. He continued to talk over me when i tried to speak. He didn't seem to know what he was talking about, didn't have the skill, or he was acting rude and childish because someone came along and wasn't putting up with his arrogance. He was totally unprofessional. He owes me an apology, but I am quite certain he isn't going to do that.

Response to Chris's reply.... A professional would respond by saying, "I'm sorry I kept you waiting. I was having a bad day and didn't mean to be rude. Will you allow me to make this right?" Clearly, you're not familiar with the term brassy roots vs. orange, and you stated you didn't know how to fix them. My hair is far from horrible, but you already know this. Your giant arrogant ego can't handle someone putting you in your place. Of course, I wouldn't let you cut my hair because you're unprofessional. This is evidenced by your reply. It is better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth (in this case, keyboard) and remove all doubt.

I found Chris when we were driving around the area and I saw this cool salon that looked very artsy and creative inside so I thought I would give him a try. I am so glad that I did. He clearly has good listening skills because he understood what I wanted in the first conversation. And, he created what I wanted in the first visit. I'm pretty simple, not fancy but at other salons I have felt they weren't hearing me. Chris heard me and he gave me exactly what I asked for. I will definitely be recommending Chris to friends. His prices are standard for the area.

the experience this salon gives you is unforgettable, i went in and was greeted by the owner chris, and mitchell. instantly, they were heartwarming, welcoming and a pleasure to be around! they were always making sure i had everything i need, offering beverages, making sure i was comfortable (they’re also super cool to talk to)
the look of this place is so comforting & unique, you can tell they put every ounce of their heart into this place. there’s art & gorgeous lighting! the passion these guys have for what they do will show through your hair when they’re finished, i’ve truly never had such a positive experience where i felt heard, seen & cared for. my hair has never looked so good, im insanely impressed and so grateful ive found chris and mitchell. i genuinely felt like a princess the entire time i was there 🥹 if you ever have a chance to come get serviced by them, i couldnt recommend it enough! thank you, mitchell & chris. i look forward to coming again ❤️
