My dad was in there for Rehab. He ended up with COVID. My mom tried to explain his prior health issues with his lungs and what he needed medically.They kept saying they would get the medication and IV fluids he needed, he received only one IV of fluids. They had a doctor on his chart, another one on his wrist band, and another seeing him. None of them talked to the other and there never was clear orders of what he was to be given. He also was in pain. His room was at the end of the hall. HE HAD TO WAIT IN PAIN, until he receivedd his pain medication. He had to call my mom at when she went home and have her call the head nurse to ask for pain meds.He also was supposed to be on a special diet to keep his kidneys from having issues. They gave him foods he shouldn't have had. And they staff didn't seem to care. I would have given them no stars, but couldn't. The day after he came out of Cypress Cove he ended up in the CCU from pneumonia and organ failure. This could have been avoided if they had listened to his family. My dad deserved better care.

Please review your mission statement with your administration and nursing staff. Therapy was great! But can’t say that for anyone else. Rereview your business processes, mission statement, and patient care procedures. They are severely lacking! There’s a total disconnect between administration and nursing staff! Make sure you are clear on each “individual” patient’s plan of care! Again, it all begins with everyone knowing and living your mission statement! Highly disappointed with my loved one’s experience. For anyone looking at a place for their loved ones….give Cypress Cove time do a reexamination process on their care for patients. It needs a lot of work!

I notice you tell everyone that you would like it if they would call you. When my family member gets out of the hospital I will be calling you for a long talk. Also I notice you have reviews for up to seven years ago. Alot of things change over time. You should take down all those good reviews. Alot changed from two years ago . I will call you later

Extremely friendly staff that care about their patients, fun things with the patient and celebrate all the major holidays. we have had multiple family members in the facility and there is no other place. We would recommend. The staff is friendly and caring from the kitchen staff to the CNA’s to the administration team

While the staff were friendly, helpful and caring. Like most renters the Administration team is just awful. Not one from the admin team called family while my relative was in their care, they did not reach out to request for any living will or other DNR documents. Finally after jumping through loop holes I got in touch with the head of administration - seemed friendly, responded that all documents were received - it was around 4:45, I'm sure the docs were filed and she thought they would just deal with it tomorrow. Bad decision when dealing with care of any living creature. My relative was taken to the hospital that evening as their condition declined. Cypress Cove Care Center did not send documents nor communicate the patients wish to be allowed to pass with dignity. Doctors and paramedics tried to revive them for 30 minutes!!! - going against the patients wishes. Thankfully my relative passed away as was their wish. There is a problem with Administrators across the US in care homes......None of them really CARE!!!!

My mom was fortunate to transfer to Cypress Cove from a hospital stay last February. She entered as a rehab participant, however, due to her health and 94 years she was not able to regain all the mobility she previous enjoyed. As she became weaker, her care became more needy. During the next nine months she was treated with the upmost kindness, respect, encouragement and love. So grateful to all the caregivers, staff, cooks ( great meals), cleaning/maintenance crew, and medical team that made our moms end days the best we could hope for. Forever grateful !

My father had spend many months in this facility. Everyone I spoke with always were respectful, the problem I had while my father was staying there was the lack of discipline for his care. There was no effort made when realizing his condition was getting worst. He would lay in bed 24 hours a day... with therapy once or twice a week. I know they offer it daily, but it was more of an offer because they "had to" rather then them wanting to and helping a struggling patient in their time of need. Like I mentioned earlier, most of everyone that we interacted with was very polite and pleasant. But definitely felt like once we left the facility, the attention my father would receive was below par. They had the opportunity to at least examine my father and try to resolve the issues he had (especially when things were getting severely bad) , unfortunately it was more convenient for them to give him medication which put him to sleep and not have to deal with his condition. I would not personally recommend the facility for a loved one in need.

Great place to be! They take great care of you! Food is decent and the place is clean! Loved the smoking area!
