I was referred to DA Hair Studio because my hair needed some serious TLC and my regular stylist retired. Well, I am so glad to have found my hair and scalp doctor; Dee is a true professional with serious skills. She made sure I understood everything she was recommending and brought my hair back to life. She also made sure I didn’t get a service that would further damage my hair; she educated me. Never have I had a scalp treatment, but Dee added it because, as I now understand, healthy hair starts from within and at the scalp. Wow, who knew how amazing a scalp treatment would feel. Though it is intended to help the scalp and hair, especially as my hair is starting to thin around my forehead and temples, I felt tension easing from my head to my ankles. To end this awesome appointment, I left with hair that looked fresh, healthy, nourished and beautiful. She added dimension to my long hair through amazing layers with so much weight being lifted, and instead of additional damage though highlights, she did a treatment and glazing, which totally helped my existing colors to be toned, yet pop in a very natural looking way. Definitely exceeded expectations; it was an amazing experience. Needless to say, my next appointment is booked. The search for a new stylist, or should I say “hair doctor”, is over. Thank you, Dr. Dee!

I’ve been going to Dee for YEARS because no one else is allowed to touch my hair. She knows texture and how to lighten the load. She knows how your hair falls and how it will fall when cut with clippers or scissors. I always feel brand new walking out of there and my confidence renewed!

Also the scalp treatment is absolutely divine! You get a head massage with oil that melts all the worries away. Do it!

I chose Dee because of a close friend of mine who always has beautiful and healthy looking hair, and I couldn't have been happier with my experience! Dee is so professional, yet friendly and welcoming at the same time. Her techniques were spot on and my cut came out exactly how I wanted it. She advised me on products I could use to help my color treated hair, and those too have been life savers! You can tell by her attitude and skill that she loves what she does! It was also nice to see that she also loves teaching with patience and enthusiasm, as her apprentice closely watched and asked questions. I can't wait to go back, and I am so happy to have finally found a stylist who listens and delivers! She is amazing, and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone!
