My SIL and I went in for acrylic nails. I asked the lady if she could ombré the nails and showed her a picture. She told me she could. She started the service; and once she had my nails on and clipped, I asked her to redo two of the tips as one was too short and the other very crooked. You could tell it irritated her. She proceeded to practice the ombré on the pieces of nails she clipped off. After about the third attempt, I told her I would just choose another color. Every time I would try to go look at other colors, “Hey you, come here, look.”, it would be another failed attempt. I asked her three different times to just let me choose a solid gel color. After not liking the failed ombré attempts; she gets upset, tells me she doesn’t have time, and to go elsewhere. I had already paid for an acrylic set and two pedicures, coming in at $91. I then explained to her that I had asked three times to allow me to choose a gel color, she then was like “oh, go see what you like, I do that.” I then told her no thank you, you’ve told me to go somewhere else so I’m going to. I need my money back for my pedicures, also. She looked embarrassed having to give that money back. My SIL walked out with gel all over her cuticles and fingers. Never will we ever be back.
