I had read the reviews after making my 1st appointment and honestly I was a little scared and nervous after reading them! But let me tell you, I went to my appointment was greeted right away by friendly smiling faces. I got checked in and was asked to fill out the necessary paperwork and was called back straight away. I didn't have any problems with the staff they were all (the 2 I interacted with) very nice. Dr. Anupol listened to all of my concerns. I'm definitely going to keep going to him for as long as I'm able to.

I was scheduled for a "scope" of my uterus (I do not know the name of the proper medical term). Several days prior to my appointment I received a call from Dr. Anupol's office stating that I had to pay upfront $695.00 before the procedure (which was approximately half the cost of the procedure) in case my insurance did not cover it. I gave my credit card info and was told that if any money needed to be refunded it would go back onto my card.
The day of the procedure, I arrived with my husband quite anxious because I was not quite sure what will be found as a result of the procedure. I was having chronic, irregular bleeding. I was told that I would have pay a previous bill and that my insurance didn't cover it. I asked her to run the bill through by insurance again--several times. At that time, my account was paid up with Dr. Anupol. She acted like she did not hear me and repeated their "office policy." I gave her my credit card and paid the $182.00.
Dr. Anupol checked me and stated that I would need to have my cervix numbed in order to do the procedure. He injected me once and then twice, I told him I began to feel my tongue go numb. By the third injection--which was Lidocaine--I lost all control of my limbs, eyelids, and ability to speak. I heard them--Dr. Anupol and the nurse call my name. I could not answer. It literally felt like I was dying. Without having any control--hard to put into words--I started screaming. The procedure obviously stopped. My husband (thank God he was there) burst into the room. I started falling off the table, he caught me. I was unable to move my arms, legs or talk. I just cried. This went on for a period of time. Finally, I was able to move and he helped me put my clothes back on. I told him I just wanted to get out of there.
My husband walked me out to the car and then went back in to let the receptionist know we left. He came back out and said that Dr. Anupol wanted to take my vital signs. I went back in and he took my vital signs. He said that he could not do this procedure in the office and that it would have to be done in a hospital. He said that I may decide to have a hysterectomy. This was perplexing to me because he previously did not want to do that. He gave my husband his cell phone number (this happened on a Friday) and asked him to call him if there were any major concerns or questions. But if I became nauseous or worsened, I needed to go to the emergency room.
I went home and for the rest of day, I did not feel well. I just stayed on my recliner.
I did not receive a phone call from anyone all weekend to check on me. I didn't receive a phone call on Monday to check on me. I did receive a phone call on Tuesday from Dr. Anupol to let me know that he received my breast ultrasound and that he was referring me to another doctor for a second opinion and asked me how I was feeling. I told him I had different times where I felt nauseous.
In less than a week after this incident, I had shoulder surgery. The anesthesiologist that gave me the "block" in my shoulder questioned me about the reaction I shared from Lidocaine. He stated that what happened was that the Lidocaine was injected into a blood vessel which caused the reaction. He stated that he uses a computer program that identifies where all my major arteries/blood vessels are located in my neck where he would be injecting to administer the block.
I waited for over a week and called Dr. Anupol's office and requested that all of my money be refunded due to the horrific experience I had. His office partially refunded the $695.00. They kept $182.00 for an office visit.
I am sharing this because my experience has been this doctor prioritizes money over people. There is no way I should have been charged ANYTHING for that horrendous experience. My deduction is that he did not have the proper equipment in order to inject the Lidocaine into my cervix in order to detect where the blood vessels were located. Common ethical decency and EXCELLENCE was definitely absent.

I have been going here since I was 18 I’m 24 now anupol was my MD and everything went so smooth and fast at the hospital, my health is important to them and I have built amazing relationships with the staff, very professional and polite. Any problems I had or questions I wanted to ask there was never a hesitation to help my needs. I recommend this place but if your looking for same day appointments and need to be seen urgently please go to the ER or walk in.

This office is awesome!! Being a woman with various health issues and many experiences with a variety of Dr.’s offices, this office has been more supportive and helpful than any others addressing my concerns. Jamie and Dr. Anupal have made me feel like they actually cared about the issues I am dealing with. From the moment they walk in the exam and throughout my treatment I have always felt like they truly cared. Response time has been great! I highly recommend this office! They are all awesome!! Thank you so much!

This place is terrible, the First Lady that my wife had to meet with was very rude & didn’t take our high risk pregnancy serious at all. There were multiple times they forgot to call us and update us with results or days that we took off work for an appointment, to be told that they may have changed the date and never updated us. (Very unprofessional). In my opinion, there’s no concern for the patients or their health. This time around my wife is going through another ectopic pregnancy and an OB doctor from the ER spoke to Dr. anupol directly and agreed to see her himself instead of another dr to avoid any issues and everything seemed fine. We show up for the appointment & we’re told we can’t be seen. So i reached out to the ER OB and overheard his conversation with annepol and stated that she needs to be seen so we can get her results. Anupol stated “i knew how serious this pregnancy is but we don’t want to see her, when she came in she seemed rude. Just tell her we can’t see her”. We never came in rude, we were told that we couldn’t be seen and asked to speak to the dr instead of the woman up front because we didn’t know if the message was Relayed to her. It’s sad to hear a Dr speak like that about a patient and not even have a heart to speak to us directly or call to explain what’s going on. I don’t want to talk bad about the rest of the staff because most of them are nice. But PLEASE, if you go here just be cautious.

They do not take people’s health seriously. I left because I felt like I needed a place that took the time to hear and understand me. Unfortunately I had to go to the hospital and they found out I was having a ectopic pregnancy and they suggested I go to Delaware center of excellence because they work with Bayhealth. I explained my concerns and told them I went there before and left. The hospital OB told me to give it another try he would call and see if I can see the dr and him only so I did. He called Dr. Noel and explained that I left to find another OB but I’m dealing with a ectopic and asked if they would accept me back and if he could see me himself, he said yes. Although I did not want to go I was open to see if they have changed. I called and re explained the whole situation to the lady at the front desk the and asked if I can set up an appointment and she said yes. I show up to my appointment and the supervisor Marrisa said did you receive the message? So I pulled up the text message that showed my appointment and she said no voicemail.. I said no I didn’t receive a call. She said we can’t see you. I said the hospital spoke to the doctor explaining everything and I spoke to the lady at the front explaining everything. why wouldn’t you tell the hospital or myself before setting up the appointment. She said you left you can ask your new OB for advice. I can’t even get a appointment in a week or 2 I’d have to wait months with my new OB because they are booked. I called the OB at the hospital, he called the Dr again and had him on speaker and the dr said “I don’t want to see her” “we dropped her because she’s rude” I was never dropped. I told them that I was leaving because I felt like THEY were being rude and disrespectful towards me and they were not taking my health seriously. Dealing with this, I need an OB to help keep track of my levels and making sure they’re decreasing the way that they should. I felt like she was being petty because I left due to their attitudes and her actions showed exactly why I didn’t even want to go back in the first place.

Don't ever come here! one of the worst obgyn's in delaware , they are extremely neglectful and not professional whatsoever , they completely ignored my concerning symptoms of possible pre-eclampsia & told me i had to wait a whole month to be seen and told me they dont do testing for it, at 32 weeks pregnant, smh!! and thats not even all they did, they had my entire due date wrong and everything wrong on my medical records, i cant believe i even stayed at this place this long but im so glad i left and am now going to a place that actually cares about my health, i hope you all lose your licenses and business.
