I felt very heard and seen from Doctor Slippy, who helped address concerns with science ordering tests she knew my insurance would cover and discussing in great detail, what they were and how they would help the issue. She also was willing to help listen to aspects of chronic health conditions that played apart of treatment and made sure I was fully aware and compliant with any medication changes which felt like an involved and patient focused process. I feel that my experience makes me feel hopeful about doctors in the field and advocating for my needs. I would recommend her for anyone who can see her for appropriate medical needs.

I am writing this from inside the exam room. It sounds as though the whole staff is getting a private comedy show the way everyone is chatting and laughing and goofing off. I called this location as soon as they were open and I was sent straight to voicemail so I waited 20 minutes and called back, I had to call 8 times and I never go to talk to the front desk only sent to voicemail (which they have no way of checking btw). So I went in person to understand why my medication suddenly had no refills even though I have never gotten it refilled. I was told that my provider decided immediately following my last visit (i which she wrote the prescription and refills) to cancel all refills and nobody was told to inform me. This location has been unfocused when it comes to healthcare for a very long time and so I caution everyone, Only come here if it’s necessary and a last resort before going to the hospital. Their lack of understanding for being the patient is wild, I hope none of them have to deal with being treated so flippantly.

ALSO!! Incredible of understanding for how to operate within HIPAA. I was asked for all my personal information out loud instead of given a personal form to write that down in. This means that the entire waiting room of people know my DOB my address and my full name. I also know all of the other waiting patients info, do you see the issue? Not only is this blatantly against HIPAA, it’s common sense and more convenient for the people working there to use the sign in forms. Please do not go here!!!

Well I've Been to DOD many times since the First Time & I CAN Say I Love going there Even More then Ever. The gals up front & in back are Great & I Can Not Say Enough Good things about Laura Slippy & Dr Dawson THEY are Fantastic in their Field & AWESOME Human beings. My Life & Health Continues to Improve Daily & I finally see a Good Future Lifestyle, something I had given up on years ago Thanks to Marinas Doctor on Duty Care Providers..Posted a month ago just fixed my spelling today.

The best experience I have had with a doctor's office since moving back down here a couple years ago. I was frustrated trying to find medical care & being told appointments were being made months in advance.
I finally found a "clinic" that was very disappointing to me, They seemed unprofessional & lacking in patient care. Luckily the "clinic" referred me to Drs. On Duty for something the "clinic" didn't provide.
I met some of The Friendliest Caring Staff from the girls at front desk to the Nurses in the back.
I was seen by Dr Slippy who in an hour visit helped me more then several appointments & hours spent with other "clinic."
I now finally feel like there is hope for Me.

I had an appointment today with my new Awesome PCP Dr. Dawson.
Dr. Dawson is a wonderful Caring Doctor. She spent time going over all my records I brought addressing all my medical concerns(at 64 I have many) Dr. Dawson was patient with all my questions & information I had. Never once acting rushed or impatient. My visit with Her was so refreshing & satisfying.
I would recommend EVERYONE Looking for Fantastic Medical Treatment to Definitely check out Marina's Doctors on Duty. You will be pleasantly surprised & pleased.

7/9 STILL The Best Care I've EVER Had ..

We really appreciated the excellent customer service that we received from both the staff and at that Doctor's, at that Marina Doctors on Duty's office.

Dr's on Duty in Marina is an efficient office with kind and patient reception staff . The Dr's and Nurse Practioner's are wonderful, Caring and take their time to help you, no matter what circumstances.
I always feel as though I'm getting the best that health care has to offer in this office.
