I LOVE Caitlin! I’m always hesitant finding a new hair stylist, but I didn’t have to look for long. My dear friend suggested I see Caitlin and I couldn’t be happier. The salon is such a lovely atmosphere. Caitlin is so sweet and accommodating. The experience is just as awesome as everything else! This is the second time I’ve seen her and I walked away feeling like a new and improved mom each time. Thank you Caitlin! I promise I won’t take so long to see you again!!

I’ve never been to a hair stylist that made my hair look as good as Lexie can. I had never had my hair colored or trusted anyone to color my hair before going to her. Every time I go in I trust that she’ll make my hair look amazing. She’s so sweet and makes me feel comfortable during my appointment. I wouldn’t want to go to anyone else. 🙂

Lucky me! I’ve been seeing Caitlyn as my stylist for several years. Not only is she excellent with cuts and color, she’s one of the kindest souls I’ve ever met. I love her choice of hair products for sale too. Environmentally sound and so lovely on my hair! Need a gift fir a friend... how about shampoo and conditioner or a gift certificate? Caitlyn shares her new salon in Delray Beach with her sister, Meagan, and it is beautiful. Having a florist along side the salon is an amazing and creative concept. Meagan’s floral creations are gorgeous. She also has a nice variety of house plants - which make a great hostess gift! Check out Downtown Roots - you will be glad you did!!

I am very fortunate to have met the women at Downtown Roots.
All are dedicated to their craft.
The salon is welcoming, both beautiful and homey.
The stylists know their work and make clients feel welcomed and in good hands.
Each stylist has their own specialty and focus, ensuring anyone who comes by will be treated with the best and latest techniques to make any (realistic) style dream a reality.
Hair really can make or break a mood, which is why it is so important to find that "right" person, and Downtown Roots has a lot of talented "right" people.

Downtown Roots it’s the place to go for a little (or a lot) of selfcare, Caitlin is the most talented stylist I have had, we have gone from brunette, to blond, to balayage, long and short and my hair has always been healthy! I also love her hair products line as she is very conscious of quality and ingredients which is also part of how she keeps my hair healthy after colors.
Now something that sets Downtown Roots apart from other salons is that you can buy flowers, that’s right! Since talent runs in the family Meagan makes the most beautiful bouquets and let’s face it flowers are always the answer. So if you want to look and feel like a million bucks, do yourself a favor and visit these ladies.

Caitlin has been doing my hair for years and she is everything! When she opened Downtown Roots Salon, I of course followed and I love the new place! The service is impeccable as always and the addition of the flower shop is lovely. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and, most importantly, I always leave more beautiful and confident than I came in ❤️ I can not recommend this place or Caitlin enough.

Just to start this is my personal experience based on a certain stylist in that salon. I know there’s a lot of good reviews but this is 100% my horrible experience.

I went in to change my brown hair to a semi light brown color. And I explicitly asked for no streaky colors since I didn’t like two hair colors. I also told her that I wasn’t looking for highlights and I wanted my hair to be lighter overall (hence NO HIGHLIGHTS) I showed a bunch pictures of what I was looking for and I was explicit about what I wanted. She then showed me a bunch of pictures of what whe thought would look “nice”.

I didn’t like them and I expressed that I wasn’t looking for that style.

Well… she gave me highlights. She had to blow dry it twice because she missed a bunch of spots.
Not only was that a big no no…. But she made them so bright and yellow that they could be literally be seen across the room. When I expressed my displeasure with result at the end of our session, she went from nice to quiet real quick. she had told me to go home and sit with it for a couple of days to see if I started to like it.
She also mentioned that the lighting made them look different in different areas. She also mentioned that to fix it, she would schedule a COMPLIMENTARY service to fix it…

I went home… it was worse than at the salon, so that same day I texted her and she told me she’d schedule me in for the following week. Two days later… she texted me because she “Reevaluated my appointment and goals” and decided she wasn’t able to fix my hair. She said it was a complete miscommunication but she wouldn’t fix it… gee
To be honest I’m dissatisfied with her service more so because even if all else failed and I asked for highlights (which I didn’t ask for) They should have blended and toned properly..
so 1/10 for lacking proper skills of doing highlights (which I didn’t even ask for)
And 0/10 for doing what I asked
