Terrible experience! I wrote this post and hope it will be helpful to our community .I purchased a Groupon that included an exam, two adjustments, and a massage, but when I arrived, Dr. Turk insisted that I had to pay extra for an X-ray before receiving the adjustment and massage. This was never mentioned in the Groupon deal, and it felt like a scam! The young lady at the front desk was kind and apologized, but the doctor acting more like salespeople pressuring you to spend more money. If not Dr. Turk was totally change especially weird attitude and refuse service Groupon. I do NOT recommend this place! If you don’t want hidden fees and unprofessional treatment, stay away!

While all I wanted was an apology, I took the initiative to call the police. The front desk lady did call, and the police were very friendly, expressing regret for what I went through. They explained that the doctor’s behavior was disrespectful, but as a business, since I didn’t pay extra for services they wanted, they have the right to refuse the services I had already purchased. The doctor, as the business owner, has the right to refuse service. Yes, it’s true that he wanted to earn extra money. I understood the police’s explanation, and they also mentioned they couldn’t force the doctor to apologize. The police suggested I pursue other methods, and I am very grateful for their help. Through this experience, I just want to warn others to be careful and avoid falling for scams. I believe the way this business handled the situation was unprofessional. If you don’t want to encounter hidden fees and disrespectful treatment, it’s best to stay away from this place. Additionally, many people have already left comments on Groupon (with a rating of 4.3), saying they were lured in only to pay extra money. You can check it for yourself. My experience was way different than "Law's experience" that I saw on Google. I normally don’t write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my thoughts after seeing such a stark contrast. From the very beginning, the chiropractor was upfront and didn’t push anything on me. I came back with my Groupon for a second first visit because I didn’t give myself enough time on the first visit to get back to work (my fault), so it was basically an extended first visit. I had so much anxiety during my first visit – it was so weird because I never get anxiety, but I did that day. He made me feel at ease though and not pressured, and he let me reschedule a proper extended first visit, where I could take my time. He could’ve been pushy and said, "We need to wrap this up today," but he was understanding of the time it took to travel with traffic, the paperwork, etc. He wanted to actually do a proper consultation. He mentioned that because of my neck issues, he’d definitely prefer an X-ray just to be safe before any adjustment. My Groupon doesn’t mention an X-ray, and I’m sure hers doesn’t either, but he explained it was about being educated and knowing if there were any underlying injuries – which makes sense, right? I know I have a hurt neck.

I’ve had a bad experience with a physical therapist after the injury, and I saw my dad go through a bad experience with surgery and pills, so I chose a holistic route for many years and dealt with the pain myself. I’ve been living with it, trying to find a way to get better without relying on medication or surgery.

When I came back for my second visit, I told him I’d just opened a CD account for my kids and didn’t want to use my credit card. He didn’t pressure me at all. He didn’t say a word about it, just offered me some heat therapy for my back/neck before the adjustment, which was honestly game-changing. Coming from a guy who’s been waiting since he was 17 to see a chiropractor – I fell through a commercial ceiling and hit my head on the way down, and I’ve never been the same. I also hurt it again in a minor car wreck. So I knew I had neck strain/sprain, but no broken bones. I told him I could find an X-ray and bring it back to him, and he was fine with that.

That’s the difference in care. It seems like the lady I heard about is the type who slanders businesses and almost gets herself into trouble daily. She probably needs to visit a mental health program. Just saying... we all need help one way or another. It’s all good.

Overall, I’m grateful to have found a chiropractor who actually listens, offers options, and makes you feel comfortable every step of the way. Highly recommend this doctor for anyone looking for genuine care.

Dr. Turek is one of the most caring and knowledgeable doctors you could be fortunate enough to meet.

You’re not a “patient,” let alone a number, you are an individual who he genuinely cares about.

He also surrounds himself with people (his staff) who are also very caring people.

I came into Dr. Turek’s Wellness Center with an injured ankle, a sore tendon, and a right hip that was still healing from a car accident five years ago. I was so happy to find that after about a month of bi-weekly treatment, my ankle and tendon are fully healed to the point where I can walk normally without severe discomfort. And my right hip has made major strides! I am happy to recommend Dr. Turek and his team to anyone who is looking for a kind, understanding, and qualified chiropractor.

After Dr Turek ran an xray on my spinal, back & sides, he based his assessments on the results, as underlying source of my chronic back pains & occasional arms & lower back pains. He showed me problem areas on the xray result & explained the corrective options for treatment. I’m convinced that if I commit to my program, I will get optimized gradually from like 40% functional to 100% over time. Dr Tony is also engaged in my program & performs equal repetition treatments as Dr Turek, on my whole body, not just the pain points. Staffs namely Lauren, Mary & Emily are awesome & efficient with scheduling etc.
