Please do not go to Lalaine. She had cut my hair 3 different times and did a great job. Went in the other day and had purposely let the length grow and expected her to do the same she had done each time. Trim an inch off the length and put in long layers as I have very thick hair and short layers don't work for my hair. What she did was totally ruin my hair. She cut probably close to 3 inches off the back without even asking me if I wanted it cut that much. She put in very short layers and the left side is actually two inches shorter in the front than the right side. She never asked me if I wanted anything done different. Now my hair is completely ruined and it will take probably six months before I can get it straightened out. I sent her an email asking why she cut my hair so short she said it had been awhile since I had been in and she thought it needed more cutting this time. Again, she did not ask me! She said she would try to fix it but I will not let her cut anymore of my hair. My hair was almost halfway down my back and now it is just below the shoulder and very uneven in length. I thought it was odd that she had me turned to where I couldn't see what she was doing. She dried it and it is different from how I do it and I knew the length was much shorter but after I colored it and washed it again I could see how it was chopped up in the front better. I will never be back and doubt I will ever trust a hairdresser again!

I was visiting my lil grandkiddos and needed a good shaping and cut for my short silvery curly hair! My daughter suggested Evelyn’s Salon in Fleming Island. I scheduled with Tori and was very pleased with her expertise on my unruly hair. Am so happy! And she’s easy to chat with during the visit!!

I have now had two cuts and one coloring from Jill at Evelyn's Salon. The cuts have been just perfect, and the coloring is one of the very best I've ever had. She is also just adorable, efficient, yet not with a feeling of rushing, and she does not overheat your scalp when drying and styling, which is bad for me because I have mild psoriasis. She has perfect manners, offers you something to drink, and she also has some beautiful bracelets that she makes, which may be for sale, not sure, and I noticed a lovely crystal necklace that I think she made, and I intend to find out more about her jewelry making. She herself is perfectly groomed and seems rested and healthy, not just one of those hairdressers with the bored look and a tired expression. She introduced me to Giovanna when I said I was interested in spa, but neither of them tried to pressure me into making a decision about future treatments right there and then. I really appreciate how clean it is in there, how on-time she runs, and that there is no loud, blasting music or loud, raucous talk. I go to relax, maybe chat a bit, but mostly just to relax and enjoy myself. Jill is well worth a 20% tip! I was referred to Trisha at Evelyn’s for a haircut and dye. I have been in Jacksonville for a year and didn’t have any luck with beauticians. I finally was able to go to Fleming Island and meet Trisha for a hair appointment. She was amazing both as a professional stylist and a person. She knew exactly what I wanted and needed and was such a pleasure. You can definitely tell she loves her profession and she shines with ability and personality. I am so happy I got the chance to meet her and discover her talent. I would recommend anyone to discover this hidden gem in Fleming Island. It’s well worth the beautiful drive.

Evelyn's Salon is a much welcomed relief to Fleming Island. Clean, and all staff are respectful of each other's customers. My stylist, Brittany, is a lovely Navy Vet who does an amazing job with this grey hair. Highly recommend this business.
