I followed Feverfew all the way to Eagle Rock after getting cut at Stag (RIP) for years and was so stoked to see them open a second location in Silverlake. Throughout several many styles and lengths I've received consistently stellar cuts over the years and can't imagine going anywhere else at this point. I've even turned my sister on to Donnell who she loves and travels all the way from the Westside to see.

On top of that, the staff are all super cool humans, the vibes are bright and clean and I honestly just feel so relaxed when I walk into this beautiful space, sometimes I don't want to leave.

Love love love Feverfew’s Silverlake location. I’ve been going to Feverfew for a while now, and always leave happy, whether it’s a root touch up, or a totally new cut. I’ve booked with both Lauren and Donny and can’t recommend them enough. It’s all pretty streamlined, and the salon is beautiful and calming and everyone is always really welcoming. Glad to have a low tox salon where I know I’ll leaving feeling better than when I came in!

Also saw one reviewer who left a bad review on behalf of a friend who was unhappy— please let them know! They’re nearly mind readers, but sometimes your vision might be different and I can say from personal experience, they’re more than happy to make sure you walk away looking how you want!

I’m leaving this review on behalf of my friend who got her hair cut here and is very unhappy with how it turned out. She had an appointment with Astrud. At the beginning of the appointment, my friend explained what she wanted — a shoulder length blunt cut. Astrud suggested they both look at some photos, so they did and my friend showed her a photo of exactly what she wanted. After confirming she would do a blunt cut with LONG face framing pieces, Astrud instead gave her a shaggy cut with curtain bangs — not at all what she asked for. Astrud even seemed to acknowledge this herself at the end, saying she just had to give the cut some “personality.” Not everyone wants an edgy shaggy mullet just because they live in silverlake, Astrud. Hairstylists should LISTEN to their clients, even if what the client wants is different from their personal style. This place is not cheap and my friend will not ever be returning. Future customers, beware.
