Showed up at 0800 as per the time they open. No one showed up till 0810. Asked for a mid skin fade. Not sure what she ended up giving me. It was so bad that I had to go to another place to get it fixed. I even asked for her to cut half off the top and she didn’t touch the top, I then asked again, and she didn’t do it, after the third time asking I just gave up. She also asked twice if I wanted to tip. The haircut took less than 10 minutes. So over 50% of the time I was there was me waiting for her to show up to work..

Just so you know, this isn't a government run, AAFES Barber shop; it's a vendor, and the prices show. I just visited and saw the prices are $20! Yes, it's cheaper than off-base, but still, on a military base it should be around $10-$12; it's only $12 on Camp Smith, and I think Ford Island is similar.

Anyway, I was here, so I sucked it up and waited in line. There was only one worker, and four people ahead of me. Oddly enough, the woman was very fast, about five minutes per person, if you can believe it. I don't know if that's good or bad, but that's pretty good money at $20 per haircut. Most of the military get simple cuts, so $20 is ridiculous. I felt like I was in basic training, getting the inductee buzz cut, she was going so fast.

Absolutely the worse haircut I have ever received. The elder woman asked me four times "is it ok?" to which I had to point out "no, please fix this" and "please fix that" until I just had to get out of the chair and head to another barber to repair the damage. ZERO stars!!

Asked for a medium skin fade and received a low and not even skin faded. She skipped around and spent less than 10min on my hair and now there's just patches of long and short hair that needs to be fixed. I understand they work for tips but come on, the shop was empty so it's not like she should've been in a rush. This place needs to some training.

Appalling business hours, even pre-COVID. For so many soldiers this is the only place they can go to get a haircut. The hours force these soldiers to get haircuts exclusively during “business hours” which directly contributes to reduced mission readiness. Please consider altering your hours to align with the hours of the PX, or at least closing at the same time.

Inconsistent service. One day it’s an ok haircut, the next is the worst. Personally, I don’t think it’s worst the $.

Efficient! Price is very reasonable, as off-post cost is closer to 50% more.

Always a terrible haircut. Anytime I go they take forever going over the same spots again and again.
