I don't regularly give bad reviews, but I really did not feel welcomed here. There was someone just hanging out and I was the only one in there while another hair stylist was finishing up with a customer near closing time. The hours don't really serve the everyday joe getting off of an 8 hour shift, 5pm close time? Lastly, it looked like the shop never really got a good sweep. I saw hair piling up under some of the chairs against the walls which made me feel uneasy. I hope they improve and make an effort for future customers but I will not be going back there.

Gils has been around for ever and its always been the same but now its going down hill with them raising the price by $5.00 to make a reg cut now $15.00. I know they need to make a living but we do too. All I can save is if Gil was still running the place and not his family he would never stand for such a price jump. Don't get me wrong they give great cuts but its not going to be worth the price for this old style type of shop.

Been going to Gils for 40 years. Open 6 days, closed Sunday. Wayne (Owner) is there once a month. around the 16th to the 20th on Saturday (3rd Saturday of the month)
