By far, the BEST salon I have ever gone to. I've been seeing Bri for a few years now and every time I go into the Salon, it's very welcoming, cozy and just a great atmosphere. All of the stylists are kind and even if they aren't the ones that did your hair, they go out of their way to say how great it looks, making you feel great. I rarely allow just anyone to do my hair and I've had some
horrible experiences...But with Bri, I trusted her immediately, from the very beginning and haven't regretted one second. She is AMAZING and a true master at blonding. I am forever greatful to have a place that I can retreat to when I need to relax and not worry how my hair will turn out because I know that Bri and Golden Hour has me covered. Not to mention the BEST music selection to listen to. The vibe is unlike any other place I've been to and I highly recommend this Salon!!

I brought my daughter here by recommendation. She got a trim and bangs with Jade. My daughter enjoyed the experience and her new look. A few more seating options would be great when it's busy. Clean and bright salon. FYI there are some vintage Playboy magazines on the waiting area coffee table in case you don't want your kids looking at them.

Absolutely Terrible Experience - Avoid at All Costs

I had a horrific eight-hour experience at Golden Hour Hair Salon on December 6th, and I left feeling incredibly frustrated and disappointed. I originally visited the salon a few months ago while trying to locate a stylist I’d been to in the past. When I called, they told me she no longer worked there but assured me they had other capable stylists. I made an appointment, explained my situation (grays, blonde highlights, and needing root coverage without harsh grow-out), and followed their advice on treatments. It wasn’t perfect, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and agreed to return. Big mistake.

Yesterday, I went in for what I believed would be a partial highlight appointment based on my previous visit. I expected it to take no more than a few hours. Instead, I endured eight grueling hours sitting in the salon, only to leave with wet hair that wasn’t even combed out. The experience was completely unacceptable from start to finish.

Taylor, my stylist, was polite for the first couple of hours but grew increasingly rude and dismissive as time went on. When I asked how much longer the appointment would take, she acted completely puzzled, as though the prior consultation and recommendation for partial highlights had never happened. Her demeanor became cold and unprofessional, making the rest of the appointment unbearably uncomfortable.

The salon atmosphere didn’t help either—eight hours of country music with only peanuts to snack on while missing work meetings and a friend’s birthday dinner. By the time we were done, I couldn’t even enjoy the results because I was exhausted, hungry, and beyond angry.

When I finally got home, I combed out and dried my hair, only to discover that the results were even worse than I feared. I now have more visible gray, dark lowlights that I didn’t ask for, and almost no blonde highlights at all. It’s honestly one of the worst color jobs I’ve ever had.

To make matters worse, Taylor’s attitude hit a new low when it came time to settle the bill. She was dismissive, rude, and even sarcastic when I voiced my frustration about how long the process took. Her response? “Why did you come back then?” That level of disrespect is mind-boggling. I returned because she recommended the technique and assured me it would be a good solution for my hair needs!

The only bright spot of the day was Kenya, who stepped in and handled the situation with professionalism and maturity. I appreciated her effort, but it doesn’t erase the fact that the rest of my visit was an absolute disaster.

In summary, I wouldn’t recommend Golden Hour Hair Salon to anyone. Their staff, aside from Kenya, displayed unprofessional behavior, poor communication, and a complete disregard for their customers’ time and satisfaction. On top of that, I left with hair that looks worse than when I walked in. Do yourself a favor and find a salon that values its clients.

If you’re in need of a new salon, look no further!! This salon is SO cute and has such a nice vibe. Everyone is so friendly and talented, too!! Tiffany is unbelievably talented; there’s no one else I’d ever trust with my hair! She always listens to what I want, and honestly makes my hair better than any picture I bring her and better than I even imagine it could be. It always looks so beautiful and natural. She is magic!
