I have been going to Halara Beauty Collective for over 2 years now. I love the music and atmosphere of the establishment. The staff are always friendly and polite. This is the first place I have been able to find someone to do my hair and actually stuck with them. I have really thick hair and places I went in the past really rushed services. When I go here I know I will always leave with a color I love and hair fully styled. I never have to deal with the staff complaining about the thickness of my hair and making me feel bad. My hair dresser Tia has been very flexible with my chaotic work schedule. In 2 years she has taken me platinum blonde, pink, blonde AGAIN, burgundy, and now brown. I’ve never left this salon not feeling confident. I love it and I plan to be a customer for life!

I’ve been going to Halara Beauty for my hair, and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment you step in, the girls are so welcoming, professional and love to chit chat with everyone. The staff is incredibly talented, and I always leave feeling pampered and looking my best.

I regularly get my blonde highlights done, and everytime Tia has me leaving feeling bright, fresh, and healthy! The color is always on point, and I’ve never had any issues with brassiness or damage. She really knows how to work with all hair types, and will make whatever you want happen.

Shay has been doing my hair for years now and she always delivers. She is the sweetest person inside and out!! My hair was so long and the color was not good before I started seeing her(see pic) the first time I saw her I told her I wanted to chop it off and she did exactly what I asked for. We talked about my worries before and if I was sure. She was so supportive of my decision! Every time I have said make me as blonde as possible, lived in, or strawberry she has delivered. Her color match is on point. I have always been so happy and felt fresh after leaving her chair. My hair has never been dry afterwards and she has made sure to be realistic in what dying your hair light and dark constantly and the damage it can cause. Shay also does my mom’s hair and my friends. I recommend her to everyone!! I totally trust her with my hair and enjoy her company 🩷

I go to Shana for manicures, she has been doing my manicures since 2016! She does a wonderful manicure and I'm planning on getting a pedicure before summer! I love to sit and chat with Shana, such a happy caring person!!

Teresa does my hair and she is such a sweet stylist, she has been doing my hair so long that I can't remember when she hasn't done my hair. She always makes sure I'm happy with the color and the cut, but I've never been unhappy! She's that good!!

I have been going to Jamie for my nails for years. She is amazing and has always outdone herself. I love that Jamie continues with on going education and takes the time to do proper nail prep. When I take these nails off my natural nail is healthier then before I put them on. She uses the best products that support your natural nail. She always has new colors to choose from and great ideas for designs. I love the atmosphere here. I have recently started seeing Shay for my hair. I love her work and that she takes the time to educate me about products. My hair hasn't been this healthy in a long time. I love the vivid she has done and going back to natural to get healthy she has aided me in doing so. I can't wait to go back to my vivid once my hair is healed. I have never been disappointed with the service here and will continue to promote and recommend the ladies here.

I am so dissatisfied with the services I received at Halara beauty collective or simply hair artistry by Shay Gannon. I went in to get weft extensions and had a consultation with Shay prior to the actual appointment. In that consultation, we talked about what I wanted and if it was doable, I wanted to go as blonde as I could get. I had black box dye prior to this and we talked about and we agreed that we would not be able to go super blonde right away and that was ok with me. I was prepared for that. We picked out the color of extensions, which was super blonde but she said she would do a root shadow on them to make it blend with my hair. Mind you, she claims to be a lived in color specialist and hair extensions specialist as well. Well I was happy with what we discussed that day and then came the day of the actual extensions installation. Everything was so unprofessionally done that day. Her assistant was late, Shay was rushing through the entire process, when she bleached my hair she said she actually got it pretty light and it was gonna “blend in perfectly” with the extensions. As she was putting them in, I could see my hair was pretty orange still and it was not blending in with the super blonde extensions but I was trusting the process. She finished installing them and was drying my hair and I was in shock because the extensions were not blending! She said still had some extensions left that she didn’t have time to put in but that she didn’t have time to make k tips so we would do it some other time. When she was done drying my whole hair she left me in the hands of her assistant while she went over to get another client started. Her assistant styled my hair but it wa still not blending! Shay looked and me and said “oh they blend in perfect! They look so good!” 😭 I wanted to cry at this point. I can’t believe she let me walk out of that salon with my hair looking like that. I was so sad and disappointed! I payed so much for this! Over a $1500 for it to come out looking like this and feel like she didn’t listen to me at all. I feel like that consult day was just flushed down the toilet because nothing came out like we talked about. I felt like I was dealing with someone who has no experience at all. I cried all the way home. I messaged her when I got home and sent her these pictures that I will be posting here. I told her they were not blending that we neeede Teo toned them down. She said she agreed, that we should tone them down so she gave me an appt to do it. That eased my mind. When I went back in, she was so rude when I told her that it didn’t look good at all. She got mad and proceeded to tell me that she “told me that I had to curl it to make it blend” and guys, not even all the curls in the world would make that blend in. She toned them down but the blend is still really noticeable 😭 and she didn’t refund me the full amount that I payed, she even told me and my friend that day that if we could stop speaking Spanish in her salon because she felt offended by us talking in Spanish. I’m sorry? And on top of all of this your being racist I will never be going back here again. It was the worst experience and everything I was afraid of for my hair. I wouldn’t recommend. I have been with Shana (nails/pedicures) for well over 10 years. I moved to the Halara Collective with her and have found a great salon for all my needs. Shana is a fantastic nail tech, working in all styles and needs - I wouldn't go to anyone else - and she is very happy at Halara.

When I was in need of a new hair stylist, Teresa was able to take me in to her practice - and a better opportunity has never come my way . She is attentive to what I want, helpful in showing me how to style it, and a joy to visit with. I am so very happy to have found her when I did.
