I have seen 3 different stylists in LA since mine moved last year. I was so discouraged until I found Johnny Ciccone at Headbetter. I absolutely love my hair now. A little background-My hair is not easy- short, chemo damaged, and gray. I left there standing taller and feeling beautiful. I could tell too by the work being done around me that this is a quality salon full of quality artists in a friendly inviting atmosphere. If you don't love your hair, then do yourself a solid and go to Headbetter!

I have been frequenting Vidal Sassoon since 2000, my daughters have been going since 2018. My girls and I haven’t found a salon in the San Fernando Valley that we wanted to make the switch to until now. HEADBETTER is better than any salon we have been to. Our Stylist Johnny was super knowledgeable, extremely friendly and up to date on trends and techniques. Both of my girls left looking amazing and are looking forward to going back. Also, another added bonus is that this Salon has plenty of parking in the back. Thank you Johnny for such a great experience. We look forward to seeing you again real soon.

Chad did my hair here and he is INCREDIBLE. My color is gorgeous and so natural. I'm blonde and I've been getting blonde highlights for years, but he doesn't use bleach. And I asked for a short trim w layers and he completely delivered. My hair is long and I like it that way. I'm so so so happy with it and have gotten compliments on it. Check out Chad.

My haircut speaks for itself! Johnny Ciccone is incredibly talented, I get compliments every day everywhere I go. All of the staff here are incredibly talented, and very friendly, I feel like I'm hanging out with friends every time I come! My style is very eccentric and I get exactly what I want every time. As a lifelong client to any random Supercuts or Great Clips, I felt like it was time to finally care about my hair as I've always dreaded going to get a haircut. I've now received 2 haircuts from Chad, and he's an absolutely incredible. He's very knowledgeable with how to style my hair in relation to the shape of my head and I've left the salon feeling fantastic both times! My first haircut with him was a style that I was always tempted to try out but never had because it was a little adventurous, and he NAILED IT. The service is top notch, the atmosphere is very pleasant, and I now (for the first time in my life) am always excited and confident when booking my haircut appointments moving forward.

Chad Cardoos is a master stylist and colorist who's given me something to smile at when I see my hair in the mirror every day. It was my first color job and it turned out absolutely amazing. The wash/blow dry experience was relaxing and chill. The length is exactly what I wanted. His diligence with keeping notes on the color process so we can remember what was done the next time I come in was unexpected and reassuring. He even taught me how to optimize my styling and provided product recommendations for the look I wanted. I look forward to having him as my regular stylist. Absolutely lovely.

I have been extremely satisfied for the last 6 years that Johnny has been doing my hair. I have seen many people/stylist for the 6 decades I have been on this planet and not to many people understand or have been able to work with my strong American Indian hair God gave me. Johnny gets me and I have always looked good. I have recommended many people to Johnny and Headbetter (Great name, too).... a true 6 star rating but they only give me 5 to work with. I drive 2.5 hours from Palm Springs to see Johnny. The ambiance, humor and professionalism is a big attraction.
