Absolute best shop in town. The entire team shines. The proprietor, Alex, has curated a top notch team, second to none. I’ve been a client since day one and could not be more satisfied. The shop is clean and inviting. The talk is great but the cut is what keeps me coming back. Barbers book up well in advance, because they are excellent. Missed Alex today because I didn’t plan well. Austin took over like a champ. Highly recommend. He’s personable and super talented. Give Austin a try, you won’t be disappointed. Five stars for the entire team at Heyday!

I’m in Reno for the summer and needed a barber. I was able to get in with Ethan and was super impressed. He took the time to ask me what I wanted, talked to me about different options I could go with my haircut, then checked in halfway through to make sure I liked what he was doing (while sharing how different options for my haircut would look). I was super impressed with his work, especially at such a reasonable price.

In addition to a great haircut, Ethan was super easygoing and we had a nice conversation.

Ethan is new to the area, so get in with him quickly before he books up! Definitely wish I lived here so that he could be my go-to barber!

Quick update: As long as they are open I will be coming back. The haircuts are always solid. Each barber is incredible with their craft. Jimmy is awesome. Definitely give these guys a chance, you certainly wont be disappointed. Love this place.

I followed Alex from Commonwealth to Heyday when he started the shop, and after their 1-year anniversary, I'm updating the review to praise the shop a little bit.
The location is convenient for me, with close access to midtown and the freeway, and I've never had issues finding parking. The shop is super welcoming and creatively styled. Alex is a great barber and conversationalist, and he is very dedicated to seeing the shop succeed and keeping things in tip-top shape.
If you're looking for a new shop that's down to earth and consistent, this is the place to go.

While I am a below average looking guy, and a haircut has never done much to improve that, I got a haircut from Billy at the new Rancharrah location since I had an hour to kill. My wife dropped me off to get an unsupervised haircut (usually a mistake) while she spent 45 unsupervised minutes at Perenn. When we went to meet up by the bocce ball courts, she didn’t even recognize me and hasn’t been able to keep her hands off me since. So yeah, great hair cut.

I love coming to here to get my haircut. I get my haircut with austin. They do a great job on making you feel welcomed. I literally walked in and haven't gone anywhere else. Love this place 10/10
