i scheduled a short hair cut which includes shampoo, conditioner, blow dry, and hair cut at $25. however, i was immediately seated at the salon chair rather than the shampoo chair. i assumed she would ask what i want and then take me to the shampoo chair but instead she started cutting my hair. long story short, i was charged for an express cut which is $35. i definitely should’ve spoken up and let her know that i wanted my hair washed but i assumed she knew what i wanted from my booking. i felt as this if she dismissed my booking because she had another client in a different chair but i’m not sure.

all of this to say, my haircut is still really cute and i’m happy with it! however, i’m really disappointed i spent $10 more then i wanted because i wasn’t able to tip her more than $5. i definitely recommend this salon but make sure they know what you want.

Needed a place to take me in ASAP. Needed a hair cut soon after having my baby girl my hair just didn’t look the same so definitely needed the hair cut a few months after and let me say they did a great job. I love a place you can be yourself and people talk to you.

Came here because the last place I tried they didn’t do what I asked for. This place is always welcoming friendly and I love my hairstyle I wanted. I’m not changing where I’m going.

Found the best beautician ever ! Brandy who is also the manager she has done wonders to my hair she really knows all about fixing hair she stripped all the dark brown out of my hair in 3 sessions then highlighted it I am so happy with my new hair she's also very friendly if your looking for a good beauty shop JC PENNY in fultondale Alabama ! Is the place to go !! All the other girls that work there are really good also and very friendly !!

My phone was stolen from dressing room a man and woman was together in there and she went out with my phone and a cola shirt on from there. We tried to find them but left store fast also tracked my phone when I got home on my husband's phone they were at apartments candymountain on Carson road when I turned my phone off o couldn't track do o had to buy me a new phone cost me 300.00 for new phone and everything I needed jc penny didn't call police they let me use a personal phone to tell my husband on my way home . Anyway costly that day ! I was so upset on oxygen sick and more phone to get home ...

Miranda is the rudest individual very unprofessional and all around bad attitude was to interested in getting out of there than helping me, and I had an appointment I might add. Wouldn't recommend them at all.
