I started going to Ji's in 1989, when the Army transferred me to Ft. Novosel from Northern Virginia. Whenever I needed a haircut, that was my barbershop of choice. For the past 10 years I have been retired, still live in Dothan, and still go there for haircuts. It is still my favorite barbershop.

June 1 they did away with messages. Now prices are going up to $14. I would’ve paid $15 to keep the massages. Also, they advertise closing at 1730 when they shut down at 1710-1715. I just got turned away. It may be time to find another barber unfortunately.

Update, this is one of the best places to go out of the South gate side. The barber on the far right against the wall near the entrance was the best.

My husband had been using another local barbershop for years until the new owners essentially turned it into more of a beauty salon. He started going to Ji's and loves the barbershop feel and the quality of service. He especially likes not having someone trying to upsell him for other products.
