Jeff did a great job with my haircut and beard trim. Had been looking for a good barber in the neighborhood and glad I found him! The space is very calm and inviting, airy with a lot of plants. I was greeted by his pup who was friendly and chill. Great location that’s easy to get to with public transit.

I understand that $50 doesn’t buy you much in SF, but damn was I hoping it’d buy a clean fade. Bro got my man looking like a clear cut forest with those clippers. I’d rather he stay salty & shaggy and buy 5 porridge loaves next door.

In all fairness, dude could’ve been having a bad day. It was a sunny day in the outter sunset, and we all know how precious those days feel.

Anyways, at least someone is keeping hipster culture alive with the gold-leaf.

(Disclaimer: IG says $45 haircut, but online booking is $50. It’s only $5, but I’m just saying for transparency’s sake. Support this small business if the haircut style is for you! Sadly, it’s a no from us.)

JR Studios Barbershop is an amazing place for sunset locals to get a haircut. The owner Jeff has been cutting hair for over 10 years and has been cutting mine for several years. The shop does not feel like a typical barbershop which I LOVE! It's very spacious and inviting. I would happily hangout here just because the vibe is so laid back and cool!
