Man what can I say, James is very detail oriented in his cuts. He takes his time to get you looking perfect. You can tell that he honors and cares about his craft; his techniques and knowledge is what I noticed initially when he asked me for what cut I wanted. He got an eye and wrist for cutting hair. He’s also good at keeping conversations so you won’t be having that awkward silence at times when you get a cut. He’s my go to barber now and most definitely will be coming back!

Parking was convenient. His space was on the first floor right by the parking area. I was even welcomed by his two dogs Sydney and Kane. The waiting area was nice, spacious. He had free beverages too. When I sat down, I told him I was growing out my hair for a while because I had a job where I wore a hat all the time. James had some suggestions on how to style my hair. He even told me what would go best with my head shape. I just let him cut what he thought was best. I got a ball fade and a feathered slick back. We had a good talk about how he just moved from Houston with his girlfriend. I actually never had a fade done before but I actually really like it! Definitely coming back to see the dogs, for a good conversation, and a great haircut. Welcome to LA James!

James is one of the best barbers I’ve ever went to. Before going to him, I was honestly pretty unsatisfied with what I wanted to do with my hair. After visiting him one time and recommending a style for me, I haven’t changed it for the past 4 years. An easy going guy that really knows how to make your haircut experience not feel like just a typical haircut. 11/10 would recommend to everyone!

James has given me some of the best haircuts I’ve had, hands down. It is rare to find a barber that also knows how to properly use scissors to trim/thin the top of your hair. I have always felt way more confident walking out of a haircut session than I did walking in. I work in Professional Services and my clients have also left nice comments on my haircuts.

Have used James for well over 6 years in a row. Through those years, I can’t count how many times I wanted to change up my style, including even once perming it. Regardless, James has always taken care of me and given me a high quality and *consistent* haircut. He’s focused on the details and is a wholesome people person, able to converse on just about any topic you’d like. James is also very dedicated to his craft, constantly looking to improve his technique or investing back into his profession with new shears, clippers, etc. In a market filled with so many barbers, there’s a reason why I stuck with the same person for so long— it’s him.
