From the first time I got my hair cut from Daniel at La Arcada Barbershop, over a year ago, I haven't gotten my hair cut anywhere else. The La Arcada Barbershop is a historic downtown Barbershop that is full of history, it's like walking into a museum, its AWESOME.

Daniel is as entertaining as he is kind as he is an excellent barber. I was in the marine corps for four years where your expected to check in every Monday morning with a fresh haircut and fade and I can genuinely say that I've never gotten a better fade by anyone than I have Daniel. If you're looking for an awesome cut at a great price then I recommend checking out Daniel at La Arcada Barbershop. You're sure to leave a happy customer. He's truly the best.

I first met Daniel when he worked in Goleta and his attentiveness to his cutting technique and his great relaxed and talented style made me follow him all the way down to downtown SB. If you go in, ask for him. He is absolutely one of the best barbers I have ever had. The barbershop feels very authentic, the area is nice and the ambience is relaxed and professional. I've had some of my friends go with Daniel and they were satisfied as well. Definitely recommend this barber shop!

I agree with all of the other reviewers--Daniel rocks! Full disclaimer, I work downtown so La Arcada Barbers is super convenient. I love getting coffee at my local coffee shop, lunch at my favorite local haunts, and my haircuts at my neighborhood barber. Daniel knows how to work with my unruly hair, he's got a great conversation game, and knows how to be creative without being too radical. Daniel's got that old-school barber sense, and more importantly he's just all around a great guy. Hank, who runs the shop, is cool, too. He's always got the most genuine smile--like a man who's found his little corner of paradise and appreciates every moment of it.

It's a calm and relaxing time and the shop is located right in the heart of downtown Santa Barbara. I usually get my haircut on my lunch hour from work and always get compliments once I return. Best price for quality haircuts, awesome customer service and cool old school barbershop decor for that vibe. A few times I needed very last minute haircuts for dates, each time he had my back and stayed later at the shop for me.
