Beautiful salon and the most amazing stylists! I had the best experience today. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. The owner is a sweet as can be! Camila did my hair and I'm so happy with how it turned out! All of their products smell amazing! They left my hair feeling so soft and healthy. They also have yummy snacks and a coffee bar!

This is one of the most unsettling experiences I've ever had with a business owner.

Be warned, Karrissa the owner as charming and beautiful as she looks, is nor professional nor talented, worst yet she has no capacity for taking responsibility for her own mistakes, instead of fixing her mistake, she just wont face you!

Initially I went to her salon about a year ago looking for another hair stylist whom rented a chair at her salon. The stylist was absent and Karrissa the owner didn't hesitate to sell her own services to me instead. I agreed as she was very welcoming at first. I loved my initial root and highlights. I went back for roots at least 7 times and highlight 3 and half times. Besides the fact that the root color never was the same, where last time she agreed that it was much red-er than it should have been. This is why stylist keep a record of color formulas in file to refer to, but she works on guessing colors.
She continued with my root and highlights where at the end my highlights looked green, to the point she suggested me going back the next day to remove the toner that made my highlights green. She gave me an appointment for the next day, just to call me the next day saying she is too busy to take me. I was like are you kidding me, how am I going to show myself to the world with green highlights. Had she written the formula what she had used and followed it, she wouldn't be depending on her guessing game. She also over processed my front highlight, that a chunk of my hair burned off as you can see in the pictures. Its been so hard covering it!
So then I said, please Karrissa you cannot not take me, as she was offering to pay me back since I wasn't a happy customer, i told her i didn't want my money back, I need her to attend to my hair. She took me later that day and removed the toner left from day before and the green was gone. I later texted her thanking her for taking me while I told her that she hurt my feelings when she didn't want to correct her mistake.

After all this, I wanted to still go back to her since I created a relationship with her by now. Humanity is more important than a fixed perfect work that has no soul in it. I trusted that this will not happen again, trusting our relationship that was built beautifully in the last one year, regardless of small mishaps that I brushed off.
Last week I called to book an appointment for my roots, where she picked up the phone, recognized me, placed me on a long hold, then had someone else answer my call, saying she is not taking any appointments, another words we are not giving you an appointment, after she messed up my hair, and I was still willing to go back to her, she had the audacity to reject me!

Her business is built on lies, taking away clients from stylists that rent a chair from her, then having no capacity as a business owner to take responsibility for her mistakes and protect clients rather just dump them as things get tough.

This by far has been one of the most disappointing experiences I have ever had. She acts like a spoiled child, I'm sure she had a great help building her business that was not in her capacity. What a shame, she should be ashamed of herself treating her clients so unjustly and unprofessional.

I never through a temper tantrum as you well know, You lie! I'm too sophisticated for that kind of behavior. The day you messed up my hair there were no other people at your salon nor stylists, another lie, if there were, there were on a brake when you were attending to my hair. I was very calm the whole time and spoke with you calmly even though you burned my hair and turned them green. Its obvious you are making it sound that I'm not a sound person leaving an accurate review .Read my text again, the one you are mentioning, had I not delete it, I would have posted here so all could see. You are desperate. There was no apology, but an invitation for you to mature up as a salon owner. You are a soar loser, shame on how you treat your clients when you fail to take responsibility.

If I could give Karrissa and Lavish Locks 100 stars I would. I have been to many stylists for color and extensions in the past and there’s a reason I only allow Karrissa to touch my hair now. She’s phenomenal and hand down the best in the hair business! Not only does her work speak for itself, she is also one of the most kind genuine and generous souls you will ever meet. She’s an amazing individual and an incredible hair stylist! I rave about her to everyone which is why all of my friends, family, and employees all go to her as well now and are all beyond happy with their hair! After years of trying to find a salon that was good at blonde, I finally found Lavish Locks and Karrissa. All the staff is very welcoming and pleasant and the salon is extremely clean. Karrissa is amazing with blonde and getting the perfect tones. She is also such a sweetheart which is a huge plus. Lavish Locks staff has always gone and above and beyond. I am so glad I found this salon!
