AMAZING!!! I had a facial with Lupita and it was heavenly! I actually fell asleep it was so relaxing! The facial included a foot massage, hot towels and lymphatic drainage. I can’t wait to go back! They use all Organic products and the spa is beautiful. Everyone was so nice and professional. Lupita was exceptional!!

I get my hair done by Kristen and have never been disappointed, whether I'm in for a trim or a color. All the staff are so nice, and the atmosphere is very calming and relaxing. They have water, hot tea, and coffee available. I haven't gone in for anything other than hair appointments, but would like to experience the other spa services.

Scheduled an appointment for my wife for our 42 anniversary. She loved the Royal package with the facial, Swedish massage and hair style and shampoo. Alariah, Kristen, and Nanette were professional and took care in pampering my wife. She was happy and relaxed when I pick her up ready for our dinner date. I highly recommend visiting LuDawn Spa & Salon for a full treatment of health and wellness.

Due to certain circumstances, I am unable to do my own pedicure anymore. For me, this is medically necessary. So I searched and searched and looked up LuDawn On their website, which is very easy to navigate. They put their prices on everything and explain everything in detail. It’s amazing. So I booked an appointment online without seeing anyone or checking it out in person like I usually do. I did not feel like I needed to go in person Before booking an appointment, which is VERY Unusual for me. There were I think four or five pedicure technicians I could choose from. This might sound funny, but to me, it was the answer!
Dawn Had one appointment left at 2:30 PM and everyone else had several appointments. So my way of thinking was that she was very popular and very good at what she did. Not that the others aren’t that was just My way of thinking. Well, let me tell you what… It was an amazing relaxing Professional pedicure. You just don’t get a pedicure. It is very obvious Dawn does this to help people. For myself, she listened to me and became my friend all at once. I just can’t say enough wonderful kind things about Dawn.
The ambience in the spa salon is something I have really never seen before or experience before. You walking in the door are warmly greeted and it smells amazing! Everything is spotless and fresh and clean. The people that work there besides Dawn We’re just as warm and friendly as Dawn was. I might add one more thing…Dawn Has a private room with one pedicure chair and you get her full attention. I have already made an appointment to go back and I feel very comfortable recommending this spa salon and I don’t make recommendations!

This is my second time writing in response to LuDawn's poor treatment when it comes to working with clients.
The first was a few years ago after a service was rendered poorly. It went unresolved and I decided to give them a second try so I could use Oway hair dye. (There's no true organic but I look to find products that the ingredients are least harmful when it comes to hair dye - side note there are other product lines and another salon in Ocala that uses Oway if you want it)
I had a hair appointment on Friday at 12:30, I received a call at 7:30am that morning from the VA hospital in Tampa asking me to be there are 1pm to see a patient. The nurse had forgotten to let me know earlier in the week and the physician asked if I was coming. I said absolutely, (because this is my job and sometimes veterans drive a long way to get to these appointments or ride busses etc...it's not easy for them to reschedule)
I called LuDawn at 10:13am (they do not open until 10am) to ask if could I move my appointment to first available next week. The secretary got very rude and said it was too late for the 24hr cancelation policy and that I would be charged $100 for canceling. I told her I just needed to move it for work and explained why.
She stated I moved too many appointments, I have moved 2 prior due to work, but NEVER in the 24 hour window. Apparently if you work, have kids, have things come up - this is NOT the salon for you. If you have nothing that will interrupt your daily life - this IS your place! You most likely will never move your appointments. 😆
I asked her to speak with the owner, let her know what was going on and she said she would get back to me. I told her if I was charged $100, I would not return.
So I went to see my patient and never heard from them until I was almost home when I received a TEXT LINK at 6:26pm to pay $170!!! (See invoice picture)
And it looks like they added a haircut to the invoice. I had a haircut the last appointment and was not scheduled for another.
This is how you handle business with a client?
Like I said, the second run in with this salon that will never have my business again and rightly so.

Due to disabilities I'm not able to do my own toe nails.
My son gave me a gift card and I used it on my birthday. For some reason the person it was scheduled with didn't take me and I was given to a lovely young lady Brianna. She was warm, caring, and gentle. You see I suffer from a painful illness and the slightest touch, vibration or movement causes excruciating pain.
Brianna took her time and made certain I was comfortable every step of the way. This young lady is an asset to this business.
