Came in for a pedicure and I was dissatisfied the pedicure bowl was filthy,disgusting and nasty.The nail clippers were old and and the young man tried to use a brown toe scrubber and old black pumus stone.. I don’t understand how they are still in business because their things are old, filthy, disgusting and horrid also I don’t understand why I had to pay $35 for these terrible things.Lastly I think they should go out of business.Ps.never ever go there or your nails and feet will fall off and never grow back.

This salon is absolutely awful! I gave them several tries & have had terrible experiences each time. Most recently, I was charged $95 for a pedicure & a HORRIBLE polish change on my hands. I asked for a French manicure with shiny gold chrome instead of the white tips. The finished product was a regular gold polish which was extremely splotchy & very uneven. I could have painted my nails at home for all of this. When speaking to the manager & expressing my issue about my nails. I was cut off multiples time which led to me having to explain my issue several times. A nail tech inserted herself into the conversation which is already unprofessional in itself, but to raise her voice on top of that was the icing on the cake. If you like to get yelled at & receive terrible service, then get your nails done at Lux Nail Salon! But personally, I will not be back & I will speak on my experiences!!

Hi I'm Jenn I swear I enjoy coming here to Lux Nail and Salon & Spa I always have either Mrs. K or Mr Tom doing my nails Tom had done a fabulous amazing job on my nails I'm just so grateful... When ever I need to come in here to get my nails I don't need to haft to wait too long so I gotta say Thank you Mr. Tom you are the greatest & awesome because I love my nails

The reviews are actually correct, they really do a horrible job. I recently had a bad experience with them providing a horrible full set. I’m glad they at least soaked my nails off. I typically don’t complain because I know it’s a hit a miss. But I wish had took pictures to share more. But honestly had I read the reviews I won’t of gone

Worst nail salon I’ve been to. The owner Tom is very unprofessional. As I was getting my nails done he was tugging on my nails and doing a very sloppy job. I asked him to take it off because I was unhappy with the work and he was trying to charge me $100 for the set that was not done or call the cops. I will never come here again and highly recommend everyone to stay away from this place.

I’ve been to six nail salons and this is the first salon that exceeded my expectations from the overall look, vibe and professionalism.

The last salon I went to did a great job, but it wasn’t as “grande” looking inside. And my nails kept breaking and lifting within two weeks which was frustrating because I’m paying for one of the most expensive services. So, I tried Lux.

This is the first salon I have ever seen that allowed you to book online! One of my biggest pet peeves is having to constantly call to schedule. I’m surprised more nail salons do not have this option. I was greeted immediately when I walked in, and my nail tech Lily did an amazing job.

She did the extra steps in perfecting my nail that every other nail tech in Delaware omits. Her attention to detail was much appreciated.

UPDATE 4/30/22: I had to drop my rating from 5 stars to 3. For some reason, I could no longer schedule with Lily so I was seen twice by the owner (or the man who sits front right).

And each time, he burned my nails, nicked me and the gel polish he applied peeled and broke off within 24 hours. And he charged for every little thing.

I decided to drive to Greenville to a better salon with prices and service that make sense. It’s a shame because Lily did an amazing job each time, but after my last two times, I’ll never go back.

I got matte polish on my nails for the first time on 9/13, i went home that evening and my nails bubbled up, started peeling within the hour of leaving the salon. I got them redone 9/14 and again that day the paint coat you can see through and started to Chip and peel. I have NEVER experienced this with my nails ever. I called today 9/15 and at this point in frustrated that I now have to get my nails done a 3rd time in 3 days. The man I spoke to who claims he’s the owner states that they have to see my nails and that they’ll fix it for free. (It’s not free, I paid for them the first time, it’s not doing me any service by having to drive 30min again 3 days in a row to get the SAME THING done again in hopes that this time it’ll last ATLEAST 24 hours) then I ask for a different tech to do my nails and he tells me if someone else does them that I’ll have to pay . This is terrible customer service, the woman that did my nails stated that she didn’t know that they needed to dry to matte top coats so that shows she doesn’t have much experience in it especially if I have to go back a 3 time, you should allow someone else perhaps your best tech to redo my nails and even throw in a design or a free wax or something for the inconvenience. Not say “I’ll fix it for free” , no if it was done properly the first time that I PAID for than we wouldn’t even have this issue. I am not going back to get them redone a 3rd time “for free” I’d rather pay and have them done somewhere else.
