She truly listens to what I want and goes above and beyond every time. The salon has such a warm and welcoming vibe—I always leave feeling relaxed and happy. Definitely the best decision I made to come here after so many failed hair cuts at other places that didn’t take the time like Chloe to really understand what I was looking for and execute it with such attention to detail and pure love. Long Hong is your go to guy for your hair needs! My grays are starting to come in at the top of head and I was in desperate need to find a colorist who would be able to fit me in my crazy schedule and was good with both color and cut. I trusted Long with my hair and I am absolutely beyond happy with my hair. Not only did he recommend a color that matched my skin toned but it instantly made my dull skin brighter and made me look younger! My cut was just right and I have the perfect bounce in my layers. Long also explained to me how to best utilize my time at the salon as I do not like to sit in the salon chair for too long. He suggested breaking up touch ups every 2-3 months, getting my baby lights done every 4-5 months. Not I only do I appreciate the way Long did my hair and cut my hair but I really appreciated his recommendations on how to make the process easier for me. Thank you, Long for an awesome experience!

Main Street Annex is a very nice salon in an excellent location with good products, but I’m mainly here to talk about my stylist/colorist Kayla.

Kayla is the BEST stylist and colorist I’ve ever had. She’s attentive and really gets to know you and your particular type of hair. When I texted her in a manic frenzy and told her I wanted to get bangs in my upcoming appointment, she asked me to come in 15 minutes early. I assumed that was because she was going to give me bangs, but what she actually did was closer to a gentle intervention, sitting me down and guiding me to the eventual understanding that (1) I didn’t actually want bangs at all - I was just feeling insecure about my forehead and wanted to cover it up, and (2) My hair simply wouldn’t be successfully shaped into bangs under any circumstances, and if we attempted to wrangle it anyway, I’d end up looking like hell.

Kayla is also awesome because if you don’t feel chatty, she’ll leave you alone and you can scroll through Instagram without forced conversation.

I have very little hair due to the maintenance chemo meds I am on and most hairdressers are not experienced in working with hair like mine. So I was overjoyed when I found Gabby! She is very skilled and is able to cut it in such a way that it does not look like l am going bald. Now that I have found Main Street Annex's Gabby, I won't be going anywhere else to get my hair done.

My favorite salon! I've been going with Teresa for several years and I loved her work. She makes you feel very comfortable and listens to your needs and she is an absolute professional and takes care of you 100%. Hair coloring, highlights and blow dry is amazing.
