I just love Marie’s demeanor, and my skin always looks amazing a couple days afterward. I don’t get facials anywhere else! I’m about to do some new cryo sessions and try out the infrared machine. I never post negative reviews, but this has to be said. I purchased a Groupon from her last year. It was for 3 Jessner Peels. I went to my first appointment and it was fine. I even paid $100 more to have my back done as well. A few months later I tried to schedule my second appointment. Being that she works alone without a receptionist, she NEVER answered the phone. It was always the answering machine. So I left message after message. Each time leaving my information and asking her to call back with her next availability and what service I wanted. She never called back. I could never reach her. Finally, I got in touch with her today.
She informed me that she had no record on me and might have thrown it away doing some housekeeping because "her files get too big." So because she had no record on me she said she would not schedule me or honor my groupon. She said that she has no way of knowing who I am or if I purchased one even though I told her I have the Groupon right here in front of me. She continued to railroad me and not let me even speak. Offering a story about how one time she went shopping and they wouldn't take her return and that frustrated her. As if this is some sort of similar situation. She did not care that I had evidence of purchase and did not want to hear anything I had to say or schedule an appointment for the remainder two Groupons I have left. Then she continued saying if it was over a year ago then she doesn't have to honor them. So she went from not having knowledge of it to saying she flat out didn't want to honor it. The fact is I have been trying to get a hold of this woman for over 6 months. Message after message, getting no response. I think my mistake was leaving her the information that I was a Groupon returning customer. I strongly believe she put me off long enough so she did not have to honor those two remaining Groupons, as she was not making retail value on them. I feel completely taken advantage of and so disrespected and disheartened by this situation. I would never run my business this way and can't believe she will flat out steal from her customers. Be Aware this is how she operates her business. I informed her this was stealing and she said so what take it up with Groupon and hung up on me.

A week ago I had a deep cleaning facial, and with having adult acne the treatment and facial wash recommended has shown an improvement in my skin just this first week. I look forward to my next appointment, Marie is very caring and very knowledgeable.

I absolutely love this place! I first came here on a coupon deal a little over a year ago and have been coming regularly ever since. Marie has a lot of experience in the field and incorporates the latest and greatest of skin care with traditions tried and true. I have tried a few places, but I have settled here. The decor is beautiful early century vintage, very peaceful and comfortable atmosphere, very clean! I get a wax and a facial when I go and I always leave there feeling totally relaxed and REFRESHED! Marie takes really good care of me I cherish my little two hour getaways at Marie Monet's! I highly recommend!

I bought a Groupon and she asked if I would be open to a different treatment. I thought she was just substituting the microdermabrasion for a cryo facial. I should have asked about extra cost, but she charged me an extra $270 at the end without ever telling me it would be that much. I think the facial was good, but I felt taken advantage of since if she had told me the cost i would have said no just the Groupon. I wouldn't have minded paying some extra, but i feel like i got ripped off.
