Best Barber ever. Matt has been cutting my sons hair for over 4 years and does an outstanding job. Easiest website to maneuver. If I have to cancel or move my appointment, I can do it on his website. Thank you Matt for always treating my son with respect.

I had hair down to my mid back and needed to get back to reality. I was a bit shy because I didn't remember how this worked. Matt got it perfect without twitching an eye in about 20 minutes. The experience is personal, one-on-one and he enjoys stirring up a conversation about whatever is on your mind. Mesquite needed a Hometown Go-To-Barber just like this. His prices are certainly in tune with the service! Don't be afraid to tip and pick up some hair gel if you like ("Johnny B" is great stuff!).

As a new customer, I scheduled my first appointment at 9 AM on a Saturday in August. I arrived at 8:55 AM and walked in. The barber had a customer in his chair, and it appeared he was finishing up.

The barber asked, "Can I help you?" and I cheerfully told him I had a 9 AM appointment and began walking towards the row of chairs along the wall (presumably for people like me to wait). The barber said, "OK - please wait outside, and I'll get you when I am done."

If you know Mesquite in August, it's hot. It is not "burn your nose hairs" hot at 9 AM, but it is still pretty warm (well into the 90s). This so turned me off that I told the barber I'm going to pass on my appointment and left.

To expect someone to stand outside on the sidewalk while there's plenty of room to sit and wait inside is definitely a new experience for me - and not one I want to repeat. I will not be returning 🙁

What a great barbershop old school haircut beard trim shave Matt has it all. Yes it may seem pricey but nothing compared to what your wife might spend on nails and a Pedicure. I was relaxed and treated with professionalism and Matt is a great conversationalist. Highly recommend Matt and his shop. I will now book every 4-6 weeks for my time to relax!

I have been here many times and today was the best. The Barber had a Family come in 3 hours before a wedding and I was already in the Chair. This man was an elderly Veteran. He really didn’t have the time and turned them away. But at the last minute with his Smock still on ran out and stopped them from leaving. He said the man was a Veteran so…Right on man. You have my business and everyone I can talk into stopping in. ?

I just retired from the Army, new to Mesquite and when I move I’m always worried that I won’t find a good Barber. Second time seeing Matt at Mesquite Barbershop today and I am extremely happy with my fade and just B.S.ing with Matt. I highly recommend!
