I recently moved to Mill Valley from San Francisco and was looking for a new barbershop. Luckily this barbershop exists and literally is the best haircut I have ever received. I am pretty picky with my hair and I often find it hard to click with a barber. That was not the case with Lily. Lily is absolutely wonderful. Amazing barber, a ton of care and time given to each person's hair, great tips for improving your hair quality, and also just great to talk to as you sit in the chair. The shop is in a great spot too which makes it super easy to get in. I can't recommend Lily enough.

She took her time, paid attention to detail, and made sure I was happy with every step. The shop itself is clean, comfortable, and has a really cool vibe. I highly recommend this place.

Was like a mower on my head, not trimmer. On top of spending $85 for a haircut, now I gonna have to spend to get hats, coz I can’t even step out with the horrible haircut that Lily gave me. Trust me, she rushed to attend the next customer that she gave me the worst possible haircut ever. To be fair, the sides and the back are fairly well but the front is just outright horrible to the point I can’t step out without a hat. And the haircut itself felt like a mower on my head. Haircut felt painful to me.
As a good service provider, the owner must allow a 10-15 minutes leeway in between each appointment to allow for better customer service. I got to start 7-8 minutes delay than my appointment time and even though I was booed for 30 minutes, I was charged for 45. Owner has just jam packed the appointment schedule that even a minute or two delay causes delay to the next customer and it’s absolutely unacceptable that I am the victim of a horrible haircut. Starting out, I was joyful that I have found a good barber but this was anti climatic. Never going back. Very unprofessional and unpleasant service.

Lily does both very well - she gives good advice on styling and communicates readily to understand the client's needs.
