Used to go to some chinese lady salon that left me cooked. Pushed me back, left me bleeding and always messed up. These guys on the other hand, charge the same but leave me looking fresh. I asked for a low taper fade with line up and he left me looking clean. Didn't mess up taper, left it looking blended. He also fixed my messed up hairline from my older barber. You get way better quality then what you pay for. Definetly, JUSTIFIED.

The place is great and they are always busy so it's best to call and make an appointment. They are all good so who ever u go to is great which is something hard to find. A lot of people like Calvin so it be best to plan ahead when needing a haircut from him. I always go to Janice she has been cutting my hair for more than 12 years.

Calvin was really really good and did a clean, accurate, and gentle job cutting my hair. Calvin was at a fast pace but not rushed. I come all the way from Washington and I can say that this place is special. I recently just got curly hair and other barbers haven’t been able to do what I had in mind, but that was before I got a cut from Calvin. Calvin and the other employee were very friendly and chill. I honestly can’t think of something that I didn’t like. I give this barbershop and Calvin a 5/5 star….

My son normally goes to see Nick. The staff are very detailed and know what they’re doing. My son happens to have a dip in his skull from a soft spot that never quite rounded. Most barbers out there could never get my sons haircut right, where the dip was not noticeable. Nick seems to always get it right! He makes sure to leave my sons hair just a little longer in the center, so the skull dip is not noticeable at all!

I love the styles and detail that Mt Pleasant Barbers perform on all their patrons! They’ve have great skill!

I highly recommend this place and to make sure you call when they open, to book your spot! That’s just how good they are!

Calvin is THE BEST around! There is no question about it! Great people working here and it is a true family owned and operated business. They remember their customers and actually care about you. I've been going here since 2008 and have been impressed with the quality of my haircut every single time.

Best place in San Jose to get your hair cut!! All the barbers here will give you a killer hair cut!!! It's best to call in the morning and schedule an appointment better than walking in and having to wait!! I've been going to get hair cuts from Stella for the past 2 years and I've never been disappointed!
