We love this place! The staff is friendly, the office is clean, and Shauna is absolutely amazing. My toddler loves her, too! I'm a mom of two, and my kids have had several pediatricians due to us relocating, and Munhkins has been one of our favorites. Shauna even took a couple minutes during my daughter's check up to answer some random questions I had about a health concern of my own! Very welcoming environment, and tons of toys for the kids to play with. Can't recommend them enough. ❤️

UPDATE!!!
After I posted my review, they immediately called and asked for the review to be removed and told me none of that had happened.
In response to your response. I love that you can put a time limit on someone's grief and emotional healing. Sounds like a stand up health care provider.
Also a very quick google search about postpartum depression will tell you it can be caused by "lack of support and other outside forces during the postpartum period" Glad you use your medical degree to spread false information.
Lastly AFTER TWO YEARS. They sent me a new bill right after I refused to take down my review! I am pretty sure a medical office making up bills to punish a patient is illegal.
I have reported this office to the Florida Department of Health now.

Would give 0 stars if Google would let me. I just saw another review on here and it hit home and it is finally time to speak up! My son is now two and this doctor put me into severe postpartum depression after she threatened us several times over our son's weight. (Threatened to call DCFS if I didn't use formula, said she would not vaccinate him anymore) I mean she was truly terrible to us with her snarky remarks (doctor and nurse). This office stole the joy from us after having our baby. RUN and RUN FAST from this place. They also "gave" us a nebulizer, come to find out it cost us almost $300.00 because insurance wouldn't cover it. They put in a vaccination appointment as "Problem" so they could make more money and I had to pay my copay. Greedy. Out for money. Rude. Oh! Icing on the cake....I still get texts trying to schedule an appointment two years later and I have opted out of the texts several times. So add harassment to the list.

This is hands down the best pediatrician in Dade City!!! Shauna and her staff have always been so patient and friendly with my little girl. Whether she is having a difficult day because of sensory overload or her ears are bothering her again, the Munchkins team is the right place to go if you are looking for a genuine doctor who knows just what to do to help your little one. After three years of painful ear infections that another pediatrician pushed off as part of her being sick so often, Shauna quickly identified that the ears were the issue and determined three months in that a visit to the ENT was needed. Now, my daughter has tubes that help prevent her from being sick and having the constant pain of ear infections. It’s true that the best thing we ever did was make the switch to Munchkins! I will forever be grateful to the medical professionals at this local, hometown pediatric office. Best. Decisions. Ever!

Kids are never seen by a real doctor. At least mine aren't. Worked with Mitzy to provide my cc authorization form for future charges for my kids. All the sudden I get a charge right after sending it over for a past due amount that my EX never paid (she was receiving the bills, not me). They never once mentioned this past due amount prior to me providing this cc authorization. I have no problem paying my bills, but to not be informed about any past due accounts prior to providing this authorization and then seeing it charged immediately on my card. Sounds very suspicious, like they purposely didn't tell me about those charges so they could get my cc and charge it. When I called about it, Mitzy wasn't available so they left her a message. She emailed me back without any explanation as to why they didn't inform me of this past due amount prior to me providing my cc. I'm on a strict budget and can't just charge things I'm not prepared for. This was extremely deceitful and I will be looking for another provider who has an actual doctor that examines my children and one who is more honest and up front about billing issues.

The office has been AMAZING! I have three little ones and it is always clean and organized. The staff has gone above and beyond to get my kids seen when not feeling well and managing their day to day care.
